Husband bought a used truck that had engine issues and he had to bring it back many times and they still never fixed it right. What did they even do to make it look "fixed"? The mechanics manager doesn't even know what he is doing, is he even qualified? We later found out from other people that this guy really doesn't know what he's doing, no one works on things in a timely manner. Once you buy a vehicle from them they just act like they want you to go away. We will never return to this place for repairs, not even an oil change, and will never buy a car from them again. It's embarrassing to see commercials promoting the "great history" of the Smart family business on TV. The family founders of this dealership would be very disappointed to hear just how terrible the service is of this business. (We are very knowledgeable about repairing our own vehicles, we know if someone is lying to us, I am even in sales and I know BS when I hear it. We have since taken our vehicle to another credible business for repair.)

I signed the papers for repair, spoke with the Representative Mr. Sam; three week later, April 3, 2026, Mr. Sam said he was waiting on me to begin to inspect the vehicle even though I signed the paperwork for repair. Mr. Sam Svc Tech, said it would be about 10 - 15,000 to repair, I again told him to begin. I then filed the repair with State Farm Insurance. Mr. Sam said that State Farm didn't even know who I was, even though I gave him my Insurance Policy number; he then claimed that State Farm wanted pictures; well he said that would take time. Mind you, I already authorized repairs on March 13, 2026... Now its April 23, 2026 and he says the parts are being ordered, and that it would take 40 hours of labor. At this time STATE FARM HAS ALREADY PAID SMART GMC $13, 249.00 ++++, so they cashed the check already. I called Mr. Sam Svc Rep and he states that don't have the parts and it's on order. May 8, 2026 I called my State Farm Agent to complain, after I left several messages with Mr. Sam @ Smart GMC. After the State Farm agent contacted Smart GMC, Mr. Sam the Svc Rep, called me and said that my wife called him to get an update, but I was the person who went to Smart GMC personally. Again, he shrugs it off as if I don't need my vehicle. He constantly saying, we got pictures, it's on the rack... Well on today, May 18, 2026. I went to Smart GMC, spoke with Mr. Sam, and again the same lies; we took pictures... I told him they need to give me a Loaner since he said to me "HE DOESN'T KNOW WHEN THEY WILL BE FINISHED WITH MY VEHICLE." At this point, I'm through calling, it's time to now get other people involved. The Attorney General of Arkansas, BBB of Arkansas, Yelp and Social Media to give my review of the services of this Dealership. I DO NOT recommend taking any person to take their vehicle to SMART GMC for major repairs. I've heard other stories of the same issues. My review today is out of 1 of 10, I will give them a 1 rating. My experience has been horrible. The Service Representatives at SMART GMC act as if they have no concern for their customers. I was told it would take 40 hours of labor, well it has been 320 hours and I am still making monthly notes on this vehicle while SMART GMC hold it on their premises for whatever reason. I don't know whether this group of people have a problem with certain people, I am not sure, but I do know, after I get my vehicle back, I WILL NEVER EVER DO BUSINESS WITH SMART GMC OF WHITE HALL AR. Very unprofessional, non-caring and full of lie after lie after lie. Had I known this is how this Service Department Operates, I would have never taken my vehicle to this repair shop. brought my truck in to have a new radiator support installed and told a quote price he even looked…read moreit over and said it would be 2 days, flash forward to day 4 and the entire quote changed because he didn't know the radiator support needed to be welded in even though I supplied a brand new radiator support. he then suggests to let his guys bend everything back into position and it would cost significantly less and be done the following day. picked up my truck, from the outside everything looked ok but it was because his workers bolted the grille on the side that wasn't bent meaning I only had 2 of 4 bolts holding it in and this was done all because they didn't even touch the old radiator support. he now won't even return a phone call to explain why they are ripping me off and all I want is a refund shitty quality, meaning shitty value, meaning service needs to be done at a reputable shop because this apparently isn't one
