HOWEVER, ALL HE DID WAS RUN MY CARD THROUGH FOR 50 EUROS, KEPT 5 EUROS AS A FEE, AND GAVE 45 EUROS TO MY TAXI DRIVER who did give me the change difference from the fare - which I gave back as tip. He was aware I had 25 euros so why not just get the additional 20 euros... why the 50 euros!?! Of course, everything lost in translation and neither driver would/could listen and see that I already had the 25 euros.
