My mother explained that the glasses were hers, they were prescription tinted lenses -- not sunglasses -- and definitely not Versace. The server came back two additional times, asking if she was "sure" the glasses were hers. Again, she confirmed that they were. The server then approached her table for a THIRD time and brought the other customer over to check for herself. The other customer confirmed the glasses belonged to my mother. All of this happened in front of a restaurant full of people. It was invasive, disrespectful, and completely out of line. No one should be interrogated and humiliated over their own belongings. 0 stars. Please do better, Colonial Inn.

What I'm most appreciative of, is when my grandma, who wasn't feeling well that day, assisted our family with helping get a trash can so my grandma didn't get sick on herself. The staff who worked today was patient, attentive, and genuinely compassionate, helping her without ever making her feel like a burden. That level of humanity is rare and deeply appreciated. Our food was great and the service was the amazing and will be remembered by all of us! We'll always be grateful and will absolutely be back. The eggplant was maybe the best I've ever had. Anywhere. The Baked Mac was the only dish I didn't love, and that stems from the fact that I have never liked mixing cheese and seafood.
