However, after my visit, I stopped by Oscar's Fresh Mex Taco Shop in Franklin. They are a Southern California-style Mexican fast-casual restaurant. They remodeled the old Wendy's restaurant down there, and now it is super clean on the inside, with fresh paint, fixtures, tables and chairs, along with very nice LVP flooring. And the men's restroom was super clean. So I imagine the women's restroom is too. That's one of the things I look for when I visit a restaurant. To me, you can tell a lot about whether the owners take pride in their operation by how clean the restrooms are. And apparently, they do take pride in their operation. The food was awesome, and the service was great. I suppose since it is considered fast casual, they serve the food on paper plates with plasticware. But you get free refills on Pepsi products. I had the Wednesday special of loaded quesadillas for $8.99, which came with a soft drink. The portions were very generous, and I was extremely full when I left. And the food was delicious! I only paid $10.25 total, including my tip. On Tuesdays, they offer four Southern California-style street tacos for $7.99 along with a soft drink. I would definitely recommend checking out this restaurant for the current daily-special prices, because those can change. They also offer burritos, nachos, tacos, rolled tacos, combo dinners, street corn, beans, rice, salsa, queso dip, guacamole, bowls and taco salads, chips and dips, fries, breakfast burritos and tacos, and desserts such as churro bites and raspberry cheesecake bites.
