I signed a contract with Welcome wagon in May last year. One year later I've not had one new client from this form of advertising ( spent over $2,000) you have to sign a one year contract. I had to close in march due to Covid 19. I called the company all they would offer was a deferral of my payments for 2 months so I still owe them the remainder of the contract. Biggest waste of advertising money I've every spent. So don't waste yours. This ancient company needs to close their doors for good. There are much better ways to spend your hard earned $, google, Yelp, Instagram etc. I could have spent the same amount of money with Yelp and tripled my business. Its few and far between I write reviews since it requires me to use technology. I started my pressure washing business about 4 years ago, and last year it took a hit due to hurricane Irma and the abundance of new competition. I turned to Welcome Wagon to advertise my business on social media. A good idea considering I hardly know how to operate my iPhone. It skyrocketed my business and put my company out there in front of all the new competition. Hurricanes are extremely unfortunate, but I took the chance with Welcome Wagon to not only help my business in a competitive time but for my family's overall well-being. We signed up with Welcome Wagon in August 2016 with the promise that our information would be sent out to 293 families. We have not received ONE call since August, and we have spend extra money sending postcards out each month to these families. We contacted the woman who signed us up to cancel and she refused. We were told that we could cancel our agreement at anytime if we were not happy, yet here we are struggling to cancel it. I would NEVER recommend this business. Upon further research, it seems we completely got scammed into signing up for their advertising as other businesses and even consumers have had problems with them. I will say to read the contact very carefully before signing and be sure to ask your contact agent about ROI and what will be done to ensure your business sees results. As for the rude customer service I experienced from Lina Farley, Director of Customer Service - I was told that would be handled internally and I do hope so, as no business should be spoken to in that way. Avoid this advertising company like the plague!!!! I own wellness centers in nj and tried their year trial. It didnt work at all and then they auto renew me into another year after i called and canceled. They never canceled my account. Still now 2 years later i am still having trouble cancelling. Also no follow up at all. These auto renew cancelation policies have been shown to be unlawful. Retro fitness and work out world just lost huge class action lawsuits for a 60 day cancelation notice. I am going to be talking to my attorney who just won against retro to look into doing a class action against welcome wagon. Best look into more reputable companies for advertising . read more

I feel horrible for anyone else Who got trapped in this horrible scheme these people have going on. After trying to cancel our subscription in December after a year of not a single lead they'll tell me I'm canceled after next month and then the following month I got another bill for the following month and it has been a cycle since..now today I called and they tell me That it's a $600 cancellation fee on top of the $124 a month they are charging me for virtually nothing if you haven't started yet good for you 100% do not do it don't recommend welcome wagon has been hell from the start this company should be ashamed of themselves If I could give a -100 review I would read more

Welcome Wagon has helped me reach out to new clients on a monthly basis, by sending a Beautiful gift book to new homeowners as they moved in. Since I am relatively new to the area myself and this has been a wonderful experience to have clients also reach out to me, having received my ads and coupons. Feelings of disappointment are similar to others giving their feedback. We feel ripped off also. Promises were made and high expectations were set. Since we signed up with Welcome wagon, there has not been a single call. We asked to cancel the contract and they refuse to. We are planning on complaining to BBB and possibly shutting them down for false advertising. Strong advice to companies to not advertise with Welcome Wagon. I received a very targeted list of new movers, with only a very small percentage of cards being returned (2%). The follow up list allowed us to continue contact as promised!
