You charged me $40 an hour and claimed you were here for 5 hours, but my home security cameras clearly show you were only here for 3.5 hours. On top of that, several areas you said you cleaned were untouched -- none of my countertops in both my bathroom were cleaned. Neither of the sinks either! When it comes to under the couch, which we discussed before you ever accepted the job and confirmed you would take care of no problem. Then to come on here and complain about it? What's worse, you accidentally sent me a screenshot of your bank account where you were talking badly about me for not giving you a tip -- after already overcharging me and not completing the work you were paid for. That's completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I was respectful and clear about expectations from the start, but this entire experience showed a serious lack of honesty and professionalism on your part.

We were weekly clients and on this last clean, not even our master bathroom toilet was scrubbed and cleaned. When we approached Kara, she let us know she didn't scrub but put cleaning solution in there....thank you...I sprayed my windows downstairs with windex but for some reason there are streaks...Usually one must scrub to clean. Our lamps were never wiped down, under our kitchen table was not cleaned, our cabinets weren't wiped down...and trash wasn't taken out.....to top this off when we approached Kara, she had a justification for these things, and in fact combated us. You literally run a cleaning service yet don't do the whole job and think your clients should understand. I had tried several different happy & jolly maid services, but thought that their prices were outrageous and the actual cleaning left a lot to be desired. After a long out-of-town trip, I came home and realized that my place needed some serious help -- let's perhaps start with an interior pressure washing? I found Universal Cleaning Services (UCS) through an on-line search, and was very impressed by their great reviews. UCS is licensed & insured, and they are a family-owned and operated company. I hired them to do a deep cleaning of my condo, and it took the two of them a little over two hours to get everything done. They were just mopping the floors when I got back, and everything looked fantastic! Extremely reasonable prices too. Manny was polite and professional. I was given a price which was lower than the other places I researched and a showtime of 10 am for the scheduled cleaning. Today was the day of the cleaning and overall it wasnt a bad experience but I am slightly frustrated with some of the service. There was a mix up with the start time therefore the cleaners arrived to the apartment complex at 0915 which would have been great if I was living there but I've already moved into a hotel. No biggie...they returned and explained the mix up. When making the appointment I was told it would take 3-4 hours to complete the job (1 bedroom, 1 bath apartment) I left the apartment around 10:30 am and it's now 4:02 pm as I'm typing this. I arrived back at the apartment complex around 2:50 pm because it had been some time and I'd heard nothing. When I walked in, the sweet lady from this morning was waiting. She had completed everything except vacuuming because the nice gentleman who was supposed to assist her took off to another location with the vacuum. I've been sitting inside my apartment well over an hour waiting. Not sure if I was charged for one or two cleaners but will be finding out because she's the only one here. She did a good job but not sure it was worth $180 for one person plus the $20 tip I gave (prepaid with credit card). It's now 4:37 pm. The vacuum cleaner arrived finally. I understand hiccups happen but I'm frustrated with the timeline and if I was charged for 2 cleaners. Lesson learned...guess I'll fit cleaning time into my schedule next time...:)
