During each visit, the team at CCMSU Medical Imaging never ceased to amaze me with their talent and professionalism. I had been in hospital for an extended period and was sent to the Copper Creek location to have an ultrasound of my veins due to pain. the technician immediately located blood clots, had me wait while the radiologist read them and they sent me to the Emergency department. Schroeder Ambulatory Centre is a non--profit community health centre. The MRI section is rented by St. Michael's Hospital until Feb 2026, to accommodate their newly arrived MRI machine. After Feb, they will transport it downtown Toronto, to St. Michael's Hospital. They are open 07:00 to 23:00! My mom was lucky because the next appointment downtown Toronto would have been Jun 2026 but because this machine newly arrived, there were relatively few bookings so she got an appointment within 1 week, but late at night in the next city, Richmond Hill! Good thing we came early. We were not told that at night, only the P4 entrance is open with no receptionist! The "MyChart" instructions, if you read it, said you can enter from P1 or P4. We tried P1 and it was locked! We finally arrived at the MRI reception area at 21:30, after driving around finding the proper entrance. There was no one around to ask for instructions late at night. A technologist just brought in another patient in at 21:30, who was scheduled for 21:30; they were also lost. They fetched us at 21:32. My mom changed into a hospital gown and was brought in at 21:54, after the previous patient finished. The two technicians not not that friendly. I suspect that they are tired working a might shift. My mom finally finished at 22:20! Very late for any senior. I have to deduct 1 star for poor instructions. The centre was was new, clean, and brightly lit. The centre has free WiFi. The place is wheelchair accessible. There are gender-neutral washrooms, which are also wheelchair accessible. There is free parking at the centre's private parking lot. Review 2025-252
