She provided me a lot of great recommendations e.g. heart rate monitor, chiropractor consultation and various supplements (vitamin B-12, collagen, iron, omega-3 oil, etc.) due to my vegetarian status. Also, she provided me a location where I can obtain spring water, something that I wanted to do for a while but didn't know where to go to obtain it. I approached them 3 times to find out wha was taking so long. Finally after 1 1/2 hour later I git my medicine and this was after I had submitted my insurance detalis in advance to speed up the process. It was simply shameful to make a patient in pain wil for a full hour and a half for the medicine. I dont equate it to good patient care.

The reception told me that it's $20 for with reading for each step. I even repeated on the phone if "$20 including reading?" She said yes! Other locations are $30 for each step. I need the 2-Step test so a $40 payment for work sounds good to me instead of $60. I come in, it was busy so reception told me it will be about 40mins wait (which is probably longer anyway) so to come around 1:30pm since I had my baby with me. So I did. I waited an hour for the dr anyway... how convenient to be seen for not even 5mins. 3 days later I come in but only waited 10mins (so nice even though my baby wasn't with me this time). I was seen for 5mins again to do the reading and the Dr (a different one) told me that I had to pay $40. I told him what I was told over the phone and he apologized. Said that it's $20 for the injection, then $20 for reading since it's usually different Drs each time. I could've just went to a different location.. How could they mess this up? I do like how they have pillows in all their rooms and the sliding doors.

Appalling. Unprofessional. Very unsettling practice and management…read more Fyi. Visited Richmond Hill walk-in clinic on October 2nd, 2021. I did not have my updated health card on me at the time. I was charged $75.00 dollars to see a doctor. I paid with the understanding that I would be reimbursed once I supplied them a renewed Health card. I supplied an updated card a week later. I was then told that OHIP could take up to 3 months to reimburse them and that their head office in Alberta would then send me a cheque asap upon their receipt. I have called several times for reimbursement. I have spoken to numerous people at both their Richmond Hill and Newmarket offices. I have told my story repeatedly and spent hours on the phone trying to get resolve. I have been told that head office did receive repayment from OHIP, in addition to being promised that someone will call me back. They refused to give me a manager's name or any contact information on who is responsible for reimbursement at their head office. Today I spoke with someone again. Once again, the Richmond Hill manager was not in and they would do their best to have someone call me back. To date...over 7 months later... I have not received any reimbursement. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I had done this ultrasound for so many times before but I was never stressed out for doing a simple ultrasound like this time ever.The technician nervously told me that she can not do some of my ultrasounds as I was a little late and I accepted to come for others another time.I thought this was all punishment I could get for my 10 minutes being late but it was not.The technician asked me questions about my related medical issue but wasnot patient enough to hear my answers.She asked me to hold my breath but seemed to forget to say leave it and I was not sure how long more should I keep my breath in and I am sure nobody could keep her/his breath for such a long time she needed! She asked me to hold my hand up in a very uncomfortable position for such a long time and when I start to move my finger for having a little blood circulation there ,she almost screamed at me to stop.I told her that I could hardly feel my fingers and she said very aggressively :"I will not repeat myself again but this is your problem and if you move your fingers again I will not be able to do it properly".I had done this ultrasound before so many times but never had this problem.I asked her name and she said why I am asking.I said I want to know who is doing my ultrasound.She said that the staff know her there by the name "ROSHANAK"but she doesn't want to tell her last name.She continued to press the appliance in her hand in an aggressive manner that i could not tolerate and asked her to stop and I stood up to get ready to leave.I told her that I have been in health profession before and the way she is treating me is so unprofessional .She made our conversation very personal and told me that I can not be an educated person but a new comer who does not know how to behave .I was shaking as her words hurt a lot and I was trying my best to change my clothes as quickly as possible to leave the room for not hearing her words anymore.I even could hardly zip up my pants because of my shaky hands and jumped out of that room.She had left a small towel and the gel on me.I asked the front desk that I needed to talk to the manager .They also did not provide me the name of the technician.I got the card and name of the manager only .The technician came back to the front and started a rude talk with me again.I told her that I do not want to talk to her anymore as she does not know how to talk to people or this would had never had happened.She said to me :"You should know that we are not your slaves here "!!!.I really don't know what she meant by this but I think she considers working on a Saturday morning to serve people as a slavery .Thats probably how she feels about her job which is so shameful.She spoiled my whole weekend by her negative attitude and I was thinking how could a rude technician hurt a patient who is already experiencing some pain or medical issue and is referred to them for a diagnostic report and a professional help.!!!!!!

The receptionist for the Xray imaging is so daft, she's an absolute disgrace to the health service…read moreindustry. I've worked in her line before but Good Lord she takes uneducated and crap service to a whole other level. Just to start off, I was going in to get some ultrasounds done as I was having some issues with my ovaries. She called me on Friday July 22nd when I was at work to (for what I assume) confirm my appointment. I missed the call but did not bother calling back when I got off work at 6 since a) they were closed and b) I had already confirmed with them I would be there when I made the appointment (and would call 24 hours prior to cancel) on the same week Monday July 17th. Today, which is when my appointment was, I arrived 4 (yes, you read it right.. FOUR) minutes late to the appointment and this lady lost her freaking mind. She called me at 3:02 (my appointment was at 3) but I dropped the call as I was parking. I ran inside and beside she even took my requisition she berated me for "purposely ignoring her calls" and "not having voice mail". When I told her I was at work the first time she asked me why I didn't take her second call. When I told her I was driving/parking at THEIR CLINIC at the time she insinuated I should have taken the call regardless of whether I was driving. So fine, I apologize because we're even more late because of her bs and she takes down the requisition info, then tells me to sit in the waiting room and "not to go anywhere anymore" (lol what? I didn't go anywhere in the first place). Because of her, I had an anxiety attack when I was getting my ultrasounds done and the radiologist couldn't understand why I was so frantic and twitchy/shaking, and kept reassuring me that we were almost done because she thought I was in a rush to go somewhere(the reason the review has any stars at all is because of the kind radiologist, who was so gentle and calm despite the atmosphere I was giving off). When we finished, I opened the door to return to the main office and I didn't know the door swung shut on its own so when I walked through, it slammed shut. The lab receptionist just remarked "wow" because she thought I did it on purpose while the imaging receptionist I was talking to just shook her head over and over again until she was sure I saw it. I still needed to speak to the receptionist about forwarding the results to my family doctor so I waited at her desk while she finished whatever she was doing. When I told her about sending the results to a second doctor, she berated me again for not having the doctor write "cc" on it even though the doctor who wrote the req said to just mention it verbally (and given I was once a medical assistant I know that this is just a formality... So she's giving me a hard time just because she could). Overall, the imaging receptionist has absolutely no regards for anyone's safety and uses the patients as an outlet for her frustrations. Ew.
