There were plenty of prearranged flowers that I could pick from. The place is big and with a nice array of flowers, decorative items, chocolates and more. The servers were friendly and accommodating. What is not to love about this lovely floral shop? If you can't find something here, you won't find it anywhere. They were our go to place for my son's prom and helped him match ribbon to his dates dress color and create a beautiful corsage and boutonnière for his jacket. We just stopped by again last night to get this beautiful arrangement for my boyfriend's mother for Mother's Day. 2025 update: There's a reason I order form this shop EVERY YEAR :) I always choose "Designer's Choice" and give a few prompts (mom loves hydrangeas, which I forgot to write this year, but they still appeared!) and the arrangement is just stunning. I will start by saying I work for who I feel is the best florist in SoCal and I was very impressed by the service and product Wellington Florist delivers. The first arrangement I ordered earlier this year for my family was a beautiful sympathy arrangement but when I received the delivery confirmation and photo a few roses in that photo were not up to par. My family loved the flowers and that didn't matter to them but since I work In a flower shop and know what the flowers are suppose to look like and I called Wellington. Wellington florist quickly acknowledged my valid complaint and sent out a replacement and resolved the issue immediately. Today was my nieces Birthday and I decided to give Wellington another call. It was a little late in the day but my same day order was taken and my niece received her gorgeous arrangement in about an hour. Thank you Wellington Florist! I will say the delivery is a bit pricey since my family is only 1/2 a mile away (2 min) so next time I order I'll have my niece pick up and put the $20 delivery charge towards more beautiful flowers. The red roses were really red. I was glad there were no thorns. Once when I was about six, maybe seven, I saw my Granny prick her thumb on a rose and I couldn't find a bandage. I got her some toilet paper but it was the yellow type and she was afraid to wrap her wound in case she got blood poisoning. Some of the blood got on her nice mauve cardigan and not even soaking it overnight got the stain out. Anyway I'm glad there were no thorns or even staples in the box , they could prick a finger too. Maybe I was six and a half. The memory of the blood makes it all a bit foggy. read more
