I want to share a concerning situation involving how a long-time employee and tenant at this…read moreproperty was treated after being injured while performing work she was directed to do. The property manager at this complex was regularly asked to perform maintenance tasks outside the scope of her role. Despite explaining that she was not a maintenance worker and requesting help, she was still expected to carry out these assignments. While performing one of those tasks, she fell from a ladder and suffered a serious injury. While recovering and on workers' compensation, she received a letter stating that if she did not return to work by a specific date she would be terminated. Wanting to keep her job, she appeared on the date listed in the letter. When she arrived, she was informed that she had already been dismissed because medical paperwork from her doctor indicated she had not yet been cleared to return to work. It is important to note that she was also a paying tenant at the property. Like many employee housing arrangements, she received a discounted rate while employed, but she still paid rent. After being terminated, she attempted to pay the full, non-discounted rent so she could remain in her home while recovering from her workplace injury. The owner refused to accept the rent payment and instead initiated eviction proceedings. As a result, someone who was injured while performing work requested by the property owner is now without her job and facing the loss of her housing despite attempting to meet her financial obligations. Situations like this raise serious concerns about how workers and tenants are treated when they are injured on the job. When someone is hurt performing tasks assigned by their employer and then faces termination and eviction while still recovering, it raises difficult questions about fairness, responsibility, and how vulnerable employees and tenants are supported when something goes wrong.

I had Henry from HW Landscaping and Hardscaping come out and install a beautiful paver patio and…read morefirepit area in my backyard. From the initial consultation for the quote to every step of the way, Henry kept me informed of the process. We met Henry over at Trenton Block, where we looked at various products, pavers, and materials. He even gave suggestions on designs and concepts. He and his crew were always on time and cleaned up at the end of every day. It took about 6 days for them to complete the job, and they even leveled out my backyard with the extra dirt removed from preparing the area. These guys do quality work, and their attention to detail was immaculate. Seeing pictures of their previous work, I left the design of the borders and accents to them but they kept me informed of what the final design plans were. I can't tell you how amazing it turned out and I cannot wait to enjoy my beautiful backyard space this summer and even into the fall. Henry and his crew are hardworking, friendly, and very honest. They will give you a product built to last and of quality craftsmanship. I highly recommend them, you will not be disappointed!!!

DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE…read more DO NOT. They have bad living conditions horrible neighborhood, animals, alive and dead, rodents, insects, etc. The washing machines underneath my apartment were not maintained, smelled and there were dead animals in the room on several occasions in the year I lived there. My car was broken into twice, smashed windows, nothing was stolen because I had nothing of value in my car but it was broken into twice. Do not let them trick you into a cheap rent value, as they will increase your rent by 120$ a month when it comes time for you to renew. I left and went to Eagle Rock which is a better neighborhood, more accessible and 2oo$ cheaper. The people or person that lived above me ran laps around their room at 3am. I complained to the landlady (sally) and she did not help one bit. There were dead animals everywhere. Bugs in my apartment, coming from the girl next door I think, but they were still there. My apartment connected to the model (leasing office) so they must have had a problem there too. The landlady lived across the street from me on the second floor so she probably did not understand the troubles I had when I talked to her about it. NOT worth the hassle and the trouble they will give you. They will charge EVERYTHING POSSIBLE to you to make you not get your Deposit back, they tried to charge me for an air conditioner that went "missing" after I left as well which I never even used when I lived there. Just look elsewhere. Horrible experience here.
