It happens I am NOT DEAD but thanks to Theresa Robbins my bank has returned electronic deposits to anyone who sent one. That includes my social security check. NOW I've had to prove I am NOT dead (which I've done) and am stuck trying to find out WHO/WHERE my funds are in the electronic limbo. Social Security never requested it back, and has no knowledge of it being sent. My bank removed it from my account on 11/28/2018 and to date has no idea where/how or when I will get my money back. MERRY CHRISTMAS from WELLS FARGO. wonder how this employee would feel if someone reached into her bank account and took out tens of hundreds of dollars with no explanation or proof of death. Went by Flowood branch to open a checking account. Nobody could see me. The lady walking around…read morewith an iPad-like device told me to come back another day or open an account online. Two days later tried the Highland Village branch, the one that offers the personal banking service. Was told the same thing. Both branches seemed small with only a few cheaply appointed cubicles. Must be understaffed. Was looking for a bank offering more personalized service than my current bank. Hoped Chase would be the one. Not a very good first impression.

If you are short on time or need your money quickly, this is not the bank for you. every other bank If you have your child's money, you can just sign it over to your account if you can prove it's your child . it's as quick as deposting a $100 check to yourself. Here, hell no! That isnt hard enough. You have to go through the long ordeal of bringing their birth certificate and social security card to start a checking account for them while waiting an hour to do it. My daughter is 3 by the way. if you have a check over 10,000, they will hold it for 10 business days. I deposited my checks here because I didn't want to drive 20 mimutes to the Wells Fargo. it literally would have been quicker for me to go here if it was 45 minutes away. im never banking again there.
