I went in to the bank today to question a transaction on my account. I had one teller to tell me an item had been paid and then another to tell me it had not been paid. I also found out that my account had been moved to a branch at Clermont GA even though I opened it in Cleveland. I was ONLY trying to determine what happened to my money, Well I also ask for them to reverse a charge on my account, so the teller said she would have to ask a manager. About 30 min later, a lady by the name of Dedra Anderson called me from bank and the first thing she said to me was it was a PREVILEDGE to have an account at Mountain Valley and they COULD CLOSE THE ACCOUNT IF THEY CHOSE TO??? So I preceded to tell her that I had only came in to find out where my $660 was and also ask her to reverse a charge. She then tell me that overdraft protection was a previledge and that I did not qualify for it so she was removing it. I ask her how did she know I did not qualify without checking my credit and I also informed her I had overdraft protection for 6 years and I also told her I NEVER GAVE HER PERMISSION TO CHECK MY CREDIT AND IF THEY DID THERE WOULD BE A LAWSUIT. She preceded to remove the overdraft protection and kept on with her snippy attitude. I also told her she WOULD NOT TALK TO ME LIKE SHE DID AND THAT SHE NEEDED SOME INSTUCTIONS ON CUSTOMER SERVICE. I ASK FOR THE BRANCH MANAGER BUT HE HAD LEFT EARLY FOR THE DAY. I WILL BE GOING TO MAIN OFFICE TOMORROW TO TALK TO PRESIDENT OF BANK. SO IF YOU EVER USE MV COMMUINTY BANK DO NOT EXPECT ANYTHING BUT RUDENESS FROM Dedra Anderson.
