The reviews on the branch doesn't surprise me one bit and in fact, I wish I would've looked them…read moreover before I decided to open an account with them last year. I rushed from the hospital to get to this branch before 4 p.m. to open an important account. I waited a few minutes at the desk waiting to a branch manager to approach me until finally someone from behind the line informed me that she would be with me in a moment. When she finally came over, I explained to her that I needed to open a business account, she stated that she would need to schedule an appointment for me to come back because they close at 4 p.m. mind you, this interaction took place before 4 p.m. I explained to her that I'm getting ready to go into surgery and bothered, she took a breath and said wait a minute, goes by the relation bankers office and explains that I need to open an account and she too gave a look of annoyance as she got up to approach me. Once again, explaining that opening an account isn't easy and that they would need to schedule me for a day to come back in. I explained again the important of having it done today since I was going into surgery, she took didn't seem to care and explained that I can either go online to set it up or go back in another day. I asked her how long it would take to close an account, she responded just a couple minutes so I decided to just close the account instead since 1. I need a bank that offers better customer service and 2. I need a bank that's convenient and stay's open longer than a 10-4 window. Well, the 2 minutes took over 15 minutes which I'm CERTAIN would've been enough time for them to just open the account that I needed. Honestly, I'm interested in knowing where customer service has gone. If I'm already in there with minutes to spare, why wouldn't you just help me when I stated the importance of opening the account? Why is it so necessary to give people a hard time? You're only in the branch for 6 hours anyway, couldn't you spare an additional 15-20 minutes to help a customer? Doesn't even matter. I closed my account, and will be going back to close the rest of the business accounts we have with them and will gladly take business to another establishment. You guys need to do better or just reduce your hours from 10-4 to 0.

Just don't even bother. Went for assistance with the application for a home equity loan because…read moretheir website required the expiration date and security code for a credit card that I had with them and was closed 23 YEARS AGO. The manager gave me an email address of the person that I was supposed to send all my personal financial documents to, so I did. When following up later I learned that the recipient of all my personal data was not even a loan officer or processor, just a manager of their call center. Just ridiculous; they are completely incapable of providing customer service, clueless and inexperienced.

This PNC branch 7880 Heneska Loop, Alexander VA 22315 allowed someone to come into their bank write out two withdrawal slips and without verification gave them 1,326.00 dollars of my money from my acct. I reported it hoping they would give me a conditional credit because it was all their fault. I went back and forth on the phone with a few representee's. decided to go to my branch were I bank and they were able to locate this branch where this unthinkable action happened to me. They did an investigation made me wait for almost a week to get my money back when they found it too be fraud. This was definitely an inside job because every time I go into the bank, I have to verify myself with my ID and or my debit card to get any services done and especially making a withdrawal. when it was resolved I assume it was a branch manager that called me Thursday morning to give me a bogus apology. He stated they have a customer with the same first and last name and when she came in the representative just took care of her. I'm still confused how you took money out of my acct. when she didn't present any verification when every time I go in I have too?! again, it was inside job and he/manager could've at least come up with something believable to tell me! just wanted to make ppl aware of what happened to me by someone from this bank.

Needless to say, once my current check clears, I will be closing my account: not that it matters much because I am a teacher who doesn't contribute enough to Truist's bottom line. Here's the scenario: Truist is administratively holding a $7,000.00 check that I deposited to my account last Friday. The funds will not be available until June 29. This is an eleven day hold. When I asked customer service about the hold, they said that they have to verify that WellsFargo has the money in their account. eleven days for $7,000.00. I did a little research and Truist is holding the $7,000.00 in an interest bearing account that benefits Truist, not me. I'm not sure what the interest rate is on this "holding account" nor do I know where the funds actually reside, but to me, this is theft and fraud. Please be careful where you place your money, and certainly reconsider banking with Truist. My next call is to my financial attorney. I'm at least owned the interest that they underhandedly accrued on my behalf. Truist: Trust with a lower case i. How cliche'.
