All while the decedent's last bills were unpaid as Chase continued to fumble and make excuses and tell lies. Don't put your money with this bank unless you want it tied up for an unreasonable time.

And despite having direct deposit for over 25 years...they told us a couple months ago that we didn't qualify for online check deposits on the app because we didn't do enough business through the account. This despite having paid off three car loans with them. One as recently as last year. It was really nice to walk into a branch and be recognized and called by name and to reach a human being when a phone call was necessary. We are looking at ending our longstanding relationship with what we see as a much changed business.

My neighbor spoke with the branch manager and only encountered a stone wall. She even implored them to call me to clear up any misunderstanding, which they refused to do. When I'm in the Middle-East while everything is turning to chaos, I didn't need Wells Fargo changing the rules in mid-stream or showing definite signs of cranial rectal inversion. I have had issues with the machines even being able to take my card, because the mechanical side can't register something is being put in to the slot. Having to move to other machines. And I don't have a clerk that can take my one card and access my 5 accounts, versus the machine that can take my one card and access only 3 accounts (credit card payment, and my primary account and savings).
