    Has been a great bank with really good service and nice employees. Have never had a bad experience at even one of the bank locations.

    WF needs a person to answer phones. Furthermore, when, if ever, will the drive-thru ATM be replaced?

    They never answer the telephone. Why have a phone number if you are never going to answer it?

    They never answer their phone. I also had a fraudulent account opened up that I never authorized.

    Horrible experience. This review is lengthy. I came to the bank to close the account of my…read moredeceased mother as this is the branch that she had opened the account at. I arrived with the all legal documentation needed - a Georgia death certificate, and a Chase Bank form of affidavit from Georgia allowing her heirs (me) to close out her account, and for the next 1.75 hours I was given the run around by a manager, a sales manager, and a personal banker named Logan. Logan could not make a decision on his own, the manager became aloof, and the sales manager attempted to talk me into setting up my business accounts with them. I was told that I could not close out the account because my mother passed away in a nursing home in Georgia, (and had never had a permanent residence in Georgia), and that because her legal/permanent address in Kansas was on the death certificate, it was not valid and that I needed to have the death certificate redone with the address of the nursing home as her permanent address! I could not beleive it! I countered with the fact (from Georgia Department of Health) that the permanent address listed on a death certificate must be proven by submitting a utility bill, deed, or another form of proof of residency. My mother would have had none of those items for the nursing home address! I stated to the Chase Bank employees that the State of Georgia knows what it is doing when it issues a death certificate to which the manager, in response, said that if they did not adhere to their decision and instead allowed me to close the account, then they would all be "living with you" because they would lose their jobs and be homeless. No one that I encountered displayed any common sense, and became rude when confronted with options. Decisions made by the staff have to be approved by a phone call to some vague "specialist" . Since this "specialist" is invisible to the customer, it allows the employees never to assume any responsibility for their decisions, but to pass the responsibility off to another person or entity. I was not able to close the account, and have retained an attorney.
