My experience with Exeter Finance has been frustrating, stressful, and completely unacceptable. After my vehicle was repossessed during an active dispute, Exeter ignored multiple cease and desist notices, provided inconsistent payoff amounts, and refused to respond in writing only speaking over the phone. Don't get everything in writing from them. The balance on my account changed multiple times without explanation, and I was not properly notified about the repossession or account status updates. They also altered communications, including changing the wording of my cease and desist letter which is both deceptive and unethical. Credit reporting has also been inaccurate, with one bureau showing a different balance and payment history than another, and remarks marked "resolved" while the dispute is clearly ongoing. (yall really need to document everything. And get ready for a lawsuit. They have a track record and they will not silence us) I've filed complaints with the BBB, CFPB, and state agencies, and I'm not the only one. There are hundreds of similar complaints from consumers around the country facing predatory lending practices, poor communication, and unfair credit damage. Avoid this company if you value honesty, transparency, and your financial well-being

I reported this immediately and was treated with complete disrespect by a manager named Jennifer Delcourt. Instead of taking my complaint seriously, she spoke to me in a condescending and unprofessional manner, even implying I couldn't have owned the items I reported stolen. I've sent multiple emails and filed complaints, but Exeter has failed to respond or provide any meaningful help. It feels like they are avoiding leaving a paper trail because they don't want to take responsibility. This experience has been traumatizing and shows how little Exeter values its customers, especially minorities. Please think twice before financing with this company -- they do not protect your property, and they do not treat people with fairness or respect.

Bank of America in Irving (Las Colinas) is a very busy location that I wish had more workers…read more Recently they converted the drive through from having access to a teller to simply having ATMs. This location is attempting to empower customers to be more self service but also lose sight of customer service. My Overall Rating - 2 Stars (Atmosphere, Facility, Return) Atmosphere - Located in a small strip on the corner of 161 and MacArthur, this location has a very small parking lot. On a busy "payday" or during lunch you may not even find a spot. Inside, the location is well designed. If you need service beyond a teller you check in and someone will help you....as long as you can park. 1/2 Star Service - There are personal bankers & commercial bankers available, but I'm going to focus on the tellers only - or lack thereof. The times that I have visited this location were during the noon/lunch hour or right after 4 PM. Only two tellers were available & the long line moved slowly. Once it was my turn it was like I as working with a robot. No Stars. Facility - As mentioned above, they only have ATMs for their drive through and on multiple occasions the ATMs were not working. They told me they were out of order or no money available. Now if they do work, the new ATMs are nice. You can pretty much do everything you would need vs. speaking to someone. A bit cold, but functional. The rest of the facility is fine. 1 Stat. Will I Return? - Yes, but only because its close. Honestly, I despise going to this location. It's busy, the tellers are not friendly, and BofA seems to want you to do everything on your own. So yes, I will be back but only because I have too. 1/2 Star. My Yelp Rating Scale (Sum of all parts): 1 Star - Atmosphere - Is it a cool dive? Perhaps an upscale place? No matter the type, atmosphere plays a big part and I'll give a star if I like it or thinks it has great charm. 1 Star - Service - You can have a great meal with bad service. But that's also what can make a five star joint drop to four. It's important to the dining experience that service is great and on point. 2 Stars - Facility - I'll award up to two stars for the facility, since this is the main reason we go out. Sometimes the extra star is given for value, but it's really all about the facility. 1 Star - Will I come back? - If I know for a fact I'll return, I'll give this a star. A place has to make an impression for me to return. Each Category can be given up to 1 star except food (2 stars) because I consider all these categories important to the overall dining experience. I will sum them up to provide my final Yelp score.

Buyer beware! This is an upcoming PREDATORY auto Loan Company , headquartered in Irving TX. (…read moreGiving Dirty South a very bad name). Slightly broken English speaking Call Center. You will have a better success rate taking your chances with your Local corner auto Lot. High interest rate. Fair weather Mgmt with varying standards. I bought a vehicle that had already reached it's prime (apparently) at the point of Sale from a very reputable Chevy Dealership. With Exeter all too eager to finance. Engine blew 12 plus Months later! Extended 24 mo Warranty never used, but mileage disqualified it from coverage. The instructions I was given from this Finance Company was all a farce. They had no intention of accepting a voluntary surrender as previously approved. Instead, they strung me along for a few weeks then impounded it. Blocked and didn't answer most calls. So much for professionalism and ethical behavior. My assumption is Exeter Finance comfortably practices the Wells-Fargo Chart. You know-the prized, unspoken, subconscience Seven Step Flow Chart of how to: successfully plunge the Finance blade without finger prints. If you aren't familiar with it, Steps One, Four, and Seven begin with the Mantra: We are the Bank and we don't give a *. Do Not conduct business with them. Though it is a personal choice. You will probably have a better experience being financed by your local Crack head, car-jacking thief down the street, around the corner. At least the Crack Head has a conscience. And sticks to the Plan.

For example, one of the other car dealerships prevented us from taking the car to an independent mechanic! You know they were hiding something with the car. Anyway, not only did Texas Cars Direct let us take the car to an independent mechanic, they were professional, not pushy like some of the other guys we dealt with, and easy to do business with. Mike, it was a pleasure doing business with you. Thank you for selling us the newest car in our company fleet! P.S. There was some minor issues but the most glaring was the check engine light. David said the issues would be taken care of, go to lunch and come back in a couple of hours. He called me and said they needed a part that would not be there until Monday. David paid for my flight home and said the truck would be shipped to me. I received the truck late the next week. When driving from where I received the truck, the check engine light came on. I notified him of this issue and he said to have it fixed locally and he would reimburse me. It has been several months and many texts and calls and still no reimbursement. Up until this point, David lived up to his word but I am extremely disappointed to have to write a partial negative review due to not receiving this promised reimbursement. In addition, the check engine issue took two times to resolve, the second requiring an additional cost which I decided to absorb thinking I would get the promised reimbursement. In closing, David did live up to his word on everything until this reimbursement issue so I can't give a 5 star review due to this
