Heather was helpful in taking info to verify my claim for them to bill but then she never called me back (it's been a couple weeks now) so I gave up and went to Dr. Becker who I am very happy with. I have been to many chiropractors, I imagine the doctor himself could be very talented but these over-staffed types of offices tend to run a lot of patients through. If you have insurance paying then you probably don't care about the cost. If you are out-of-pocket like me then you might want to find a smaller office that can give more individual attention. Again, the doc might be great but with the lack of callback, I wasn't happy with the customer service. Another employee there got snippy with me when I simply tried to leave my insurance person a voicemail about the billing, I called from inside the office when there were no other patients there and was ordered out of the office. I was not speaking any louder than their staff when they are on the phone.

I am so glad I did. My back was injured by a chiro in SLO that didn't know his own strength and messed up my pelvis and low back pretty badly by doing a twist adjustment too hard. After 6 more visits of him trying to fix it and having no luck, and after x-rays and constant chronic pain for MONTHS, Dr Peterson took me on as a challenge and has very carefully, mindfully and professionally made a lot of progress in just the last handful of visits. She also reviewed my xrays and found the exact place where a bone is displaced, and showed me, explaining it in a way that made sense (and I can also clearly see it, no less). She has also adjusted my atlas in my neck and does a lot of passive joint movement stuff (I think that's what it's called) to find out where I'm out and where I need more attention. She has a drop table, too, and has tried a lot of non-traditional ways to get me back into shape (meaning she doesn't just do a hug or twist adjustment on me and send me on my way, thank god). I have found my new chiro for life and am so so so thankful. Yelp comes through again!! Something to note: she doesn't take credit cards, so bring a checkbook when you go.
