Heather was helpful in taking info to verify my claim for them to bill but then she never called me back (it's been a couple weeks now) so I gave up and went to Dr. Becker who I am very happy with. I have been to many chiropractors, I imagine the doctor himself could be very talented but these over-staffed types of offices tend to run a lot of patients through. If you have insurance paying then you probably don't care about the cost. If you are out-of-pocket like me then you might want to find a smaller office that can give more individual attention. Again, the doc might be great but with the lack of callback, I wasn't happy with the customer service. Another employee there got snippy with me when I simply tried to leave my insurance person a voicemail about the billing, I called from inside the office when there were no other patients there and was ordered out of the office. I was not speaking any louder than their staff when they are on the phone.

His office is out of his home in Los Osos (he closed his office in Morro Bay a few years ago) and so his hours are super flexible. He said he can take people on weekends too. Anyway, for a $75 "travelers deal," he saved my back and provided me with almost immediate relief. He has all kinds of cool chiropractic tools and did a thorough job of listening to my complaints and addressing my problem areas. 12 hrs later and I feel a hundred times better! Hidden gem. My back had been my weakest link physically and I figured stiffness and chronic pain was the payback for all that running along with all those years. Shawn came highly recommended and I initially went to him knowing I had much to gain if he could help and only a few dollars to loose if he couldn't. Working with Shawn has been an extremely positive experience both physically and spiritually.
