Not only that is mom couldn't eat since 12am the night before so had to go 15 hours with no food and no explanation of the wait. Oh and she is diabetic. Now we are finished up 12 hours later to wait to just see her so I can finally get food since the cafeteria closed at 2pm before my mother could even get back before surgery. Not only that when I asked where to go so I can see my mom the nurse kept saying he and I corrected her that it's my mother we are waiting on. I've been waiting for my scheduled appt for 2 weeks now. I get a call today from Evelyn who states she has to cancel my appt bc they don't take my insurance. I checked my insurance and Dr. Slavin is in network so I call Evelyn back. She realizes my PCP sent her the wrong info so she sets me up again for tomorrow. A few minutes later she calls and I can tell she doesn't know how to tell me that she has to cx my appt because "we cannot see you according to my manager", and she is very apologetic. She then says that her manager will be calling me, so I ask the name of the person who will be calling me, and she says "Mrs. Slavin". I tell her "I'm sorry you will be hearing me but I know what's going on. She won't let Dr. Slavin see me bc I'm an ex-employee. Mari (Mrs. Slavin) is petty, unethical, and unprofessional. You can tell her I said that. And again, I'm sorry you got caught up in this". I worked for Dr. Slavin for 6 years. I never stole from him nor did I do anything illegal. I took care of his patients and went above and beyond to take care of his patients. And now his petty, unethical, unprofessional wife refuses me services. I need his services as a patient, I'm not there looking for work. What happened to the Hippocratic oath Dr. Slavin took? What happened to "I will treat the sick to the best of my ability", or "I will remember that I do not treat a fever, chart, or cancerous growth (or an ex-employee), I treat a human being", and last but not least, what about "may I long experience the joy of healing those who SEEK MY HELP". I need his help but apparenlty, Dr. Slavin's wife, Mari, threw his Hippocratic oath out the window.

They even made follow up appointments for them as we continued to wait. A total of 5 others walked in 15-20 min after we did and were taken to examination rooms almost immediately upon arrival. AFTER 50 min of waiting I inquired as to what the determining factors in being admitted versus not being admitted were. They mentioned that since ours was a vaccination they "would check to see is the girls in the back were ready" to administer it. So if you're scheduling vaccinations in this place call ahead to insure that "the girls in the back" are ready to see you in a timely manner. They ushered us into an intermediary waiting room after we voiced our observations. 15 min after that we were in the exam room. Any disparity in average wait times should be communicated to the patient upon making of the appointment. If DLC is aware that certain types of appointments take longer than others that should be shared with clients as a courtesy upon the making of the appointment and or arrival.

She was on her phone during examination and not showing interest to the patient and parent. It took three weeks for another doctor to tell her; she was wrong in her diagnostics, after she two weeks of her "treatment". Dr. Nancy Jimenez does not work as she used to with patients.

He performed a septoplasty, and from that day forward for the next seven years I have been unable to breathe properly out of my nose. He kept rescheduling me even after Dr Picou told me in front of him that I still had a scab on my left nostril because my septum was crooked. He kept rescheduling me constantly for the next 2 years, I guess so I couldn't sue him. He finally performed some under the table turbinate reductions, 2, which were completely unnecessary and didn't make any improvement, only causing me further suffering, until he finally passed me off to some random plastic surgeon in San Antonio who DOESN'T accept insurance. I have never been through more suffering in my life. He has told me he's fight for me to get me a lower price for the reconstructive surgery.

We had to take him again and he sedated hm and placed the tubes. The left ears' tube came out in 2 months. He started to grow fungus to the left ear and his response was to ensist that we were using qtips on his ear. They suction the fungus out and put "cash powder" every 2 weeks for 2 months and then no follow up. I went today because he got strep and a bacterial infection in the outer ear and he bumrushes in without greeting any of us (my son, myself or my husband) , goes into his infected ear 1st and then the other and I get t upset and told him to stop! I told him he was going to spread the infection to the other ear and we needed to talk about what was going on before he just grabs my son without greeting and manhandled him. His ear has a pinhole size opening due to the infection and I just came out of the ER YESTERDAY with a Rx for antibiotics. He needed to hear what was going on 1st! He said he was not going to talk with me and walked out on all of us and refused to see my son whilst he, an 8 year old boy is in pain! The man has a God complex and has zero regard for his patients.
