    The beef entree.

Although the staff was accommodating, this venue provided what our entire table agreed was the WORST banquet meal that we've ever had. There is no excuse. Those of us who ordered the beef were served completely inedible food. None of us could eat the very tough, well done piece of shoe leather that covered the plate along side undercooked (almost raw) vegetables and better prepared mashed potatoes. The salad was an embarrassment. With wilted lettuce, poor quality "store bought" croutons and no other ingredients except the dressing, it provided a mediocre beginning to a mediocre meal.

Attended a wedding here. Beautiful decor for the outdoor tent. Chandeliers from the ceiling and chairs placed in rows on each side of the aisle. A few cushions were stained which didn't look good. The set up was nice and there was an event coordinator who went round to check on things. After the ceremony, we retired to the bar area and also could move outside where another bar was set up. Wait staff circulated with hors-d'oeuvres - poached pear with honey, spinach dip and something else. They were ok. Not evenly completed with some having more toppings on the crostini than others. Dinner was served further into the building. Salmon or steak were the choices. The food was average. The veggies on our plate was raw - not sure if by design or not enough time to cook them. The salmon was not seasoned enough and the steak was not tasty. My son wasn't pleased as the ceremony and wait was a bit. There was enough space to set up the DJ and the photo section in the various rooms. Parking can be challenging as it's not a large private lot. Overall a fantastic evening of celebration but not my first choice for food.

We had the pleasure of attending my wife's company Christmas party that was held at this venue. Very nice atmosphere lots of dark wood, and a beautiful fireplace. Great place for an event but we heard it's very hard to book for an event so plan ahead.

What a great event venue! I can't say enough about the food and the staff. I was there for a Bar Mitzvah and we had our choice of dinner entree. I had a salmon dish and it was cooked perfectly, great presentation, and the sides that came with it were also delicious. The steaks that other people at my table ordered were also cooked to a perfect medium. There was a loaded tots and nachos bar along with sliders set up for the kids and my son had 2 platefuls! The venue was beautiful from the exposed beams on the ceiling and the golf course surrounding the event center. The bathrooms were very clean, as were the hallways. I think there were 3 events happening at the same time, and the only time I saw other guests was in the bathroom.

Our wedding took place at The Wellshire on 9/30. From the very first meeting, we knew we were in good hands! The food was amazing and plentiful. The facility was beautiful and the staff was phenomenal! Sarah was very responsive to emails, very well organized and kept everything running smoothly! We were able to fully enjoy our wedding day, because we knew everyone was working behind the scenes on our behalf to make it a great event. I highly recommend this venue!

The staff are amazing, and go out of their way to ensure that everything is explained and you are set up to have a good time. It was very busy the night we went, but that wasn't an issue since you reserve your space ahead of time. We did both axe throwing and a bay rental for an hour. Renting a golf bay is incredibly cost effective since the cost does not change based on how many people you have (you can have up to 8). And even though I called it a golf bay there are TONS of options to play. The food and drinks (which you can order through a QR code) are also great. We had some wings and they were delicious. TL:DR - an awesome option for a night out with built in activities

The Lake House reopened during quarantine with many restrictions around food and social distancing, but we still had a blast. Parking was awful because the main entrance was blocked off, so we found a nearby school lot. It was a nice walk down to the marina. We headed straight to the bar and ordered White Claws and shots. Not sure if this is their typical alcohol selection or limited because of COVID-19. Either way, there was one bartender juggling all the patrons, and she was always friendly. Seating lined the outdoor patio facing the beach. My friend said there used to be live music here, but I guess we'll have to wait until the pandemic is over. For food, they only had basic hot dogs roasting in the oven and bags of chips. For how much we drank, I'm grateful there was anything. Overall it's a decent pub and a perfect spot to take the pups after a day in Cherry Creek park.

It is said that they unveil a brand new theme each year and this year's theme appears to be focused on some Eastern cultures such as cherry blossom and bamboo forest with pandas. Not that I have been to many lights shows and yet I must say that I have never seen anything quite like this as far as my recollection is accurate. In its 12-acre land, the installations of lantern lights are everywhere. After 8:30pm or so when it's dark, the illuminations from the lanterns are glowing brighter than Las Vegas' illuminations (LOL - why am I comparing this to Las Vegas!!) According to the park's website, some of the sculptures are 23-foot tall (such as the cherry blossom gate.) It's currently open from Wednesday through Sunday until October 5th. And last night's was one of the adult-only nights where you must be 21+ to enter (I believe the next and last such night is Sept 17th. And this writing is as of late August of 2025.) I am already curious as to what the next year's theme is going to be. There is a centralized bar, some food vendors, a stage where a performer performs, and a DJ booth. Great for family time, girls' night or date night. Helpful staff were working tirelessly to assist all visitors. Although about 1,300 tickets were sold last night, it was never super jammed packed. There is still time to visit this enchanting light show. Not only for the locals but definitely one of the must-visit attractions for out-of-staters as well.

We walked in with absolutely no idea what to expect, and I'm so glad we decided to give it a try! The racing simulators are incredibly immersive, allowing you to compete head-to-head against everyone in your group. If you've never done anything like this before, don't worry, the attendants do a great job explaining everything, and the simulator walks you through the controls before the race begins. It was easy to pick up and an absolute blast. The venue also has a bar-and-restaurant atmosphere, so you can grab drinks or a bite to eat before or after racing. Just keep in mind you can't eat while you're actively racing, so it's best to plan accordingly. Another nice bonus is that F1 Arcade offers a military discount, which we always appreciate seeing. Whether you're a racing fan or just looking for something different to do with friends or family, F1 Arcade is a fantastic experience. We walked in with zero expectations and left talking about when we could come back. Definitely one of the highlights of our day!

It's very expensive to play the games. I was at a group event, so I didn't have to, but I would not go back and play a $10 per race car game that's only a couple minutes long each. The minimum is about a $50 charge, you can't go alone/have to have at least 2 people, and online it says that's 5 games & also says that's 45 mins. There's also a lull reload time in between games, so you're also paying for that time not racing and just waiting. They do have a happy hour, so that's cool. I wonder if they get busy for that, but it is only M-F from 3-6. There is currently beer, wine, and a couple of cocktails for $5 - $8 and a few snacky food items for $8. I guess they'll always have the restaurant and corporate packages, if that's enough business. As a regular person, it's a pretty expensive night out between the game package price, food, drinks. They even have some cocktails priced at $23+, come on, people! Why don't we just charge $50 a drink? I don't know how people are affording to go out at the full prices anymore. I'd def hit it up for happy hour again, but that would be it for me.
