Heather Rice is unfortunately the kind of practitioner that gives the profession of chiropractic a bad name. She told me within 5 minutes of meeting me that the death of my baby at 1 day old was probably caused by me getting the COVID vaccine while pregnant. I was only 2 1/2 months into the loss and had gone in to see her for back pain. Insensitivity and poor bedside manner aside, Heather Rice seemed to genuinely believe what she was saying. I feel sorry for her and all the vulnerable people she must be needlessly harming on a regular basis with her distorted views. Additionally, her office is splattered with anti-vax and anti-mask articles, and they make you sign a waiver at the front desk saying that you acknowledge masks might be harmful. I recently experienced an acute pain in my right knee just two weeks prior to a planned 20 hour flight. I was so concerned that I wasn't going to be able to travel with such a painful knee.
