I've bought several items, both big and small, and I am very happy with my finds. On the previous reviews I read - the one review with the baby carriage is simply BIZARRE. If one is walking around with a baby carriage covered with a blanket and a store employee can't see what or who (or even if anything or anyone is in there), then it is a valid question to ask about your baby. Also, it is bizarre that someone would walk around in this consignment shop with a stroller anyway. Lady, get a babysitter. Also, get a thicker skin. If people ask about your baby, don't take offense. Looks like other complained about not being greeted when they walked though the door. Were they expecting trumpets and confetti? I've always felt welcomed in there and the staff is very pleasant and kind. I like that they leave me alone and let me explore. They're always helpful when I need them. YAY Fiddleheads!!

I consigned three pieces and after not hearing whether or not they sold, contacted the store. I was told they did sell (two anyway, the third they couldn't give me an explanation what happened to it), and that a check was sent to my house. Either that was a lie (most probable) or it was lost in the mail. Either way, I never received a check. The store said they'd send another check less $35 for a stop payment on the first. Then they changed their mind and decided not to reissue a check for any amount. The figure is too small to pursue legal recourse and not worth wasting my time. But it's not so unimportant as to not raise a red flag to others.

All the bullet points that she lists on her website for how the process works with the consigner are not followed. While I was emailing her my photos of my items I found that her emails were curt with poor grammar, misspelled words, very unprofessional. I hired her delivery person who was exceptional to pick up my items and take them to her store. I never heard from her. According to the bullet points on her website, she collaborates with the consigner on the price which makes total sense. I would want to trust the judgment of somebody that is in the business of selling used furniture, however, after two days, I never heard from her. I emailed her and she said she was listing sofa for 449$, chair for 388$, I do not consider this as collaboration. When I looked at the website and saw a picture of my sofa, the price on it was 499$ ,not the price she told me in the email. I have not heard a word from her in almost 2 months, I will be reporting her to the Better Business Bureau and the attorney general. There is a paper trail in the emails, however I didn't receive any kind of receipt or agreement to sign, lazy, and a poor way to run a business. Technically there is no proof she received the goods and I do not even know if I will ever hear from her and I really don't care at this point , it's quite disconcerting as I paid $300 to have these items delivered to her shop. Since my sofa and chair are still on the featured items on the website, I am assuming that they have not sold , again minimal to no communication. She is making a lot of money with very little effort and the consigners are her bread and butter. They should be treated with respect as if not for them she would not have a business. Please do not consign with this woman. She needs to be put out of business for her poor and shady business practices. I don't know if this is just laziness or some kind of entitlement. It is located right near South Shore Taco Guy (also a cute spot) and Schooners. The store is meticulous: clean, very stylish, well organized and comfy. The owner has a solid eye for style and it comes thru even in how cool she decorated it. The store has a good variety of consigned clothing, shoes/sneakers and handbags. The sizes run the gamete (I saw from XS to 18) and the brands range from better mall brands like Gap to more exclusive designers. I tried on 2 pairs of jeans and while they didn't fit, I would definitely come back. The clothes were very stylish and were in excellent/ like new condition and were all ironed or wrinkle-free (pet peeve is I hate when the I go thrifting and the clothes are displayed super wrinkly).
