My GP at Probert Road never seemed to help me, explain anything or answer any of my questions properly. Everything was solved by coming back in 2 weeks. Everything. My GP - and all the stand-in GPs I've had at Lower Green have been great. They answer my questions promptly, diagnose me and explain what's going on clearly. They have then prescribed appropriate medication and advice on exactly how to deal with any condition I've had. Waiting room is relaxed with audio and visual cues. Rooms are well labelled. There's two receptionists serving and there's also a self-check in computer so a lot of people don't even have to go to the desk to check in to an appointment. There's also a pharmacy basically in the waiting room. Bonus! Sufficient parking.

The new building however is huge and now boasts so many more different services to the community. Inside there is the main recpetion where you check into appointments, and a huge waiting area. They is rooms for doctors nurses, triage nurses, childrens rooms where they do injections and a big play area for children. There is a specific desk for prescriptions to. Upstairs is for the dentist, and midwife/health visitors. The whole place is really clean and spacious, and there is so much more room to cater for draytons ever growing population, right outside is a chemist which makes it easier for people to collect prescriptions as soon as they have been to the doctors. The service is always friendly and the staff do there best to help you.

The practice prides itself on offering the latest approved treatments in general and cosmetic dentistry. Two dental hygeinists and a dental therapist work alongside the dentists to provide the best oral care in the area. The practice offers a range of reading material in the waiting room in addition to a well stocked childrens play area and a range of hot and cold beverages. I cannot recommend Dennis enough, he has not only helped me to banish my nicotine addiction but he has also helped me to recognise my limts when I am drinking - I am now able to drink in moderation, something I had always struggled with. At first I was rather dismayed as we saw a different dentist for each of our first three visits, which meant that there was no continuity of care. However, since then we have always seen the same gentleman who is very nice & always very reasonable in his approach i.e. he hasn't tried to persuade me to have expensive & unnecessary treatment. The only real complaint I now have about the practice is that it shares its waiting room with the doctors surgery at the same practice, which means sharing a room with germ laden sick people.
