You honestly can't go wrong with Wen Hing! It is so convenient for days where you don't feel like cooking. I always call in for take-out. The process is quick and easy. Their menu has practically been the same since they've opened. It takes about 10 to 15 minutes for your order to be ready depending on the day. My all time favorites is #19 (beef teriyaki, chicken fingers, boneless spare ribs, and chicken wings) and #20 (the same as 19 but switch the chicken wings with crab rangoon)! The food is always hot and freshly cooked which is the main reason why I really enjoy this place. The flavoring is consistent but the only con is that the portions are kind of small if you have a big appetite. My go-to spot! read more

Fell waaaaaay....off!! The New Chef totally sucks. Screwed up the beef fried rice recipe. I went three different times hoping it was just a fluke. Nope this new crew and Chef are putting they twist on solid recipes that built this spot up. Now its a gamble every time i come here. Use to be my spot. Now I literally am searching for a new Chinese spot in my city. Ding ho back in the days was the king of Chinese in Worcester. These guys was affiliated to Ding ho. So when Ding ho closed. Wen Hing was the next go to because the recipes was from Ding ho. I guess they were related. Well now Wen Hing got a new Chef and he cant cook and his recipes are trash. He literally destroyed the beef fried rice recipe. Which was my favorite. You know when your favorite go to dish recipe changes at a restaurant,or just isn't cooked right. So I literally put this place on the back burner. Its sad that i have to drive to Holden for Wong Dynasty Chinese for now. At least they are worth the money. Not Wen Hing Anymore. While being at work on July 4th I didn't have much options for food so I decided to order chinese. When I received my $8 "lunch special" combo I was quite excited to eat it, but once I took a bite I was so disappointed. It was so dry. I didn't touch the ribs or chicken fingers because of how dry it was. Took a bite of the crab rangoon and it was so sour almost as if it was going bad. It was so devastating that I wasted $8 on some wasteful food that was appetizing. read more

How anyone can rate this place beyond 1 star befuddles the mind. I went there yesterday to treat myself to a New Years dinner, and it was a culinary disaster to say and write the least. Certainly not the way I wanted to usher in the new year. I ordered a Pu Pu Platter for one and the food was cold, stale, and tasteless. The chicken fingers were quite literally as hard as a finger, and the spare ribs, tasted more like a spare tire. The fried shrimp required a stake knife to dissect, and the chicken wings were filled with hairs the cook forget to remove. I nearly threw up at the sight of that development, and chucked what was left of this cluster bomb in the trash bin where it belonged. Avoid this place like the plague. read more

I'm scared to think about the cleanliness of the kitchen because most Chinese restaurants in Worcester were said to be the dirtiest places to eat. But the food was very good! We've been here before and their food has gone downhill. Everything is either bland or tasted off. Beef teriyaki was ok but pretty sweet. Queen rolls were bland. Shrimp fried rice needs more soy sauce. Orange chicken tasted like no Orange chicken I've had, no spiciness to it. Looked quickly online to grab some Chinese food and the Menu was completely inaccurate. Ordered the food and the person taking the order did not bother quoting me so I figured it would be what the price I thought it was online. Another person picked the order up, and the price was twice what I had expected. I raised a complaint and the company did not provide any kind of customer service or anything else remotely considerate of my issue. I would advise anyone to stay far away from this place as they have predatorily practices. read more

Stopped in today and grabbed take out for the family. Pork fried rice, pork lo mein, chicken fingers, crab Rangoon and an order of hot and sour soup. The food was great. The family was truly happy with all items. Soup was hot and full of wonderful flavor. Both crab Rangoon and chicken fingers were full of fillings and not greasy. Lo mein and rice were done perfectly. We will definitely be back. Lastly, service was quick and the staff was extremely pleasant. read more

Had the Chicken curry and it seemed rather watery and not spicy as advertised. I still didn't hate it and the portion was a good size, but I feel like it might have been the worst curry I've had (granted I've loved curry every other time). Guess that's what I get for ordering curry at a Chinese place There are three 4-person cheap booths inside, it's primarily a carryout place. The food is really good. I like their pork fried rice and their boneless spare ribs the best. They are extremely reasonably priced. The food here was not what I'd expected. For one thing, the chow mein was sort of a soupy thing with veggies in it, rather than the noodles I'm used to. The "spicy" orange chicken was not spicy at all, and had more breading than I like. The no meat fried rice was OK, but it did not have any veggies in it which was kind of disappointing. However, the scallion pancakes were some of the best I've tried, and so was the sauce that came with the "pot stickers" (which had been deep fried) Overall, not the best Chinese food place if you're from California. read more

Decided to try this place again. Had gone there years ago and the food was good, but the shady neighborhood caused us to go elsewhere. Food was not freshly made, prefrozen taste and texture, and all overcooked. Chicken fingers were not well made, mostly batter with tiny pieces of chicken inside. Peking ravioli were pan fried almost burnt and the sauce was not very good compared to other places. Subgum pork fried rice was bland and soggy with a few green peppers, a couple of mushroom pieces, and very little onion. My biggest complaint is the crab rangoons. Absolutely terrible! Flat, hard, and overcooked with a smidgen of filling. We got this order to go and asked how many duck sauce were in the bag. "Two!" the woman behind the counter yells as she was walking past us. We asked for an extra one and she yells "75 cent! 75 cent!" Okay fine, gave her the 75 cents. Containers were barely 3/4 full and the sauce was watery. I also tried to mention their online menu because the old prices needed to be updated. She wouldn't even let me finish my sentence before yelling "Not responsible!" "Not responsible for that!" Well, I'm not responsible for you losing my business, lady, you are! I won't be back! read more

Best Chinese take out food in Worcester, they do have a couple tables to sit and eat as well! The worst is they don't deliver. they have lunch plates under $7.00 till 4 p.m. After 4.p.m you can still get the great plates for 50 cents more. the portions are so large, there will be enough for most for leftovers :) I recommend #20!!! read more
