Was given a order for an xray, went to an advent health ER, and left within 5 minutes because I just needed an xray, and they were going to have a doctor see me. I was charged for a physician I never saw at the ER (Third party contract) Orlando Health has been amazing to both my husband and I. So happy I made the switch.

Based on my first experiences with this one, I have to say that I am very happy. I was able to get…read moremy initial appointment with only a weeks notice and thankfully it was an in person visit. We spent a good hour on the first appointment covering everything that needed to be covered and setting up to get, all my records from the other doctors I see. The location is not as convenient for me as others I have gone to, but it's still a reasonable drive and definitely worth making. Everybody I spoke to and met was friendly and make me feel comfortable. My next appointment was set for only a month down the road with blood work in between. We hope that they will have at least some of my records by the time I come back in. We are already talking about working to get me a couple of specialists that I am looking to see. I should probably write more once I have had multiple visits and have a good idea that the quality of care will continue.

We live 25 miles away and went to his 1st appointment this morning. The receptionist said she needed to check his insurance. 20 minutes later she called him up front and said they don't take his insurance! She said the manager had made a mistake. I can't imagine how this place is run if the manager doesn't even know about insurance. I would recommend anyone needing a rheumatologist, find one that knows about insurance and will not waste your time and your gas.

After a few weeks, I got a bill from Quest diagnostics that my payment $146 for the blood work is require. I called the clinic to ask for help and why they didn't mention anything about extra payment for the blood work, basically they didn't care.

I was going to have to wait a whole month for a refill if they couldn't find an alternate medication.
