There were 24 people in the wedding party and she did everything to make it fun and stress-free for everyone (especially me). Wendy saved our wedding! My best friend from childhood (and scheduled wedding photographer) became pregnant with twins, she was put on bed rest during our wedding month and I was so nervous...how we would ever replace her? I asked my old friend for recommendations and Wendy was the only answer she gave me. So after checking out her work and talking minor details on the phone, my husband and I flew Wendy to the Outer Banks for our destination wedding. Wendy Waddell Photography is amazing. We had some family pictures done last fall and were very impressed with them. So much that we ordered 3 large prints for the house! Wendy has an amazing eye for detail, and the images are phenomenal. The colors are brilliant. Her service is boutique and I couldn't believe her details in the wrapping and delivery of her products. We ordered the photos framed and she gave multiple ideas for frame options and even suggested where to hang them in the house. This is what I needed help with in particular or the photos would have sat for months in their package! Wendy is professional yet fun. She is very personable, has a great sense of humor and gets the job done. She knows how to work with kids, and somehow got our son to smile sweetly, which we cannot get him to do! She took control of the shoot and the kids listened. She even helped me to pick the clothes for the shoot! Wendy is a talented and superbly professional photographer. At a school charity event, I bid on her donation of a family portrait sitting. Winning that item was worth much more than I paid. Wendy made the experience smooth and comfortable. She was flexible in setting-up a time best for me, my husband and two kids to meet with her and her assistant. She scouted the location, gave us easy guidelines for what to wear, and had a great rapport with the kids (ages 9 and 6). The photos came out wonderful. She showed us everything she shot and came to our house to edit. We picked out the ones we liked and a style to frame them. We have had two sessions with Wendy and I couldn't be happier with the results. Wendy is a beyond amazing photographer and made our photo shoot with our two children so much fun. I don't think any of us feel very comfortable in front of a camera, but she managed to capture beautiful shots of all of us whether it be posed or candid. The end result was that we wanted to order so much more than we ever originally intended on because of how many great shots were taken. Wendy is amazing photographer!! She helped plan my kids shoot from outfits to locations. She is great with kids (and parents) and makes it a fun, relaxed time while taking great pictures!!!
