Loud inside and outside from all the TN fans. Started off with a couple appetizers: Onion Rings - thickly sliced and deep fried. Hard boiled eggs on top of guacamole sprinkled with bacon jam. They must have been running low on the bacon jam because we barely had more than a speck on each egg. However, this dish is delicious. I would get it again. Main dish: Hubby ordered the Nashville hot chicken sandwich with fries. I ordered the TN Barrel burger WITHOUT a bun. Unfortunately, they served it with a gluten free bun. In place of the fries I substituted a small mac-n-cheese. Is the mac-n-cheese supposed to be room temperature? Mine was. That was not very tasty. Would have preferred it to be bubbly hot. Quick friendly service in a loud environment. They keep smiling through the chaos which is appreciated.

Tons of wing flavors to choose from! We got the platter, comes with 8 traditional/or boneless wings & two sides for 17$! Such a good deal, it was a lot of food, and we both had left overs! I got it with the Mac & onion rings & he did fries & fried okra so we could try different sides! All very good!! Mac was a bit bland , but salt n pepper helped!! It was overall a fun little laid back sports bar! Def would be fun for playoff games, tons of tvs, even some at the tables! Arcade room! Our server Marcus was great. He was friendly, gave us suggestions & refilled refills quickly! I come from 15+ years in hospitality! It's nice to still see great people in this industry that care about guest like I do!! We def will be back!!

The onion rigs were great, crispy and tasty, so were the fries. The burger was cooked well and tasted ok as burgers go! My steak sandwich on the other hand was bland, I had to look closely as i first thought it was ground beef instead of steak! If this sandwich served in Philadelphia it would be thrown back to the kitchen! Service again was poor! Three ladies were standing arguing over the tabs, and ignored my friend who waited 4 - 5 minutes just to get their attention! She finally walked over to where the employees argued and had to ask for anther drink! UNACEPTABLE! Doubt if we are coming back! There are too many other burger joints in Johnson City with big screen TVs and better service! !

But I wiggled my vehicle into a tight spot and went in for a burger and a beer. I believe there were about 10 to 12 options available on tap, and I went with what was listed as an Irish stout from somewhere in the Northeast. It wasn't bad, though it seemed more like an imperial stout. My sandwich choice was the Cowboy, with ground elk at its core. It was a good choice too, and the accompanying fried onions and melted cheese complemented the meat well. I ordered the burger medium, but I think I'd go for medium rare if I could go back in time. The medium option wasn't bad, but I think a little less heat and a little more moisture would only make things better. I kept things simple with the side item, going for the fries which were of the thinly sliced McDonald's variety, not bad but nothing remarkable. The server covering my table was pleasant and prompt, though soft spoken so I occasionally had to ask her to repeat herself amidst the music and noise. I wouldn't call any of these selections a bargain, but the prices didn't veer too far from what you'll find in many burger joints. All in all, not an earthshaking experience, but a place I'd be willing to go back to. 3.5 stars.

My husband thought it was…read more"average," but in fairness, I ordered what he always calls girl food -- bright, fresh, crunchy, pickled, delicious -- and that's exactly what I got. We started with the pickled board, and it was just fun. A little bit of everything: pickled veggies, cucumbers with those pretty curls of onion, pimento cheese, bread, pork rinds, a little tomato jam. It felt like a Southern snack platter put together by someone who actually cares about balance and flavor. I ordered the pickled salad with chicken, and it was right up my alley. Fresh greens, great textures, pops of color, and the chicken was nicely seasoned and grilled. The dressing had that bright, tart thing going on that makes you want more of it. I would absolutely get this again. My husband got the Cassie salad, and while he said it was "fine," even he admitted everything was fresh and well done. The vibe here is relaxed, cozy, a little rustic, the kind of place that feels local in the best way. For a casual lunch in Boone, it hits the spot. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

The ladies working inside were extremely friendly and helpful, which was a great start. Their menu is incredibly unique and fun, featuring a wide variety of amazing burgers. As a fan of spicy food, I was pleased to see several options that catered to my taste. My server took the time to explain how they roast hot peppers to create their own unique blend, which I found very impressive. I decided to go with the Cold, Cold Heart burger, primarily because it included jalapeños. Although tempted by the Fire God Burger, the combination of scorpion and ghost peppers seemed a bit too intense for me. My burger was prepared quickly while I watched from the counter, which was a nice touch. The fries that accompanied it were excellent--slightly thicker than regular fries with a delightful seasoning. They were served piping hot and crispy. The highlight was definitely the burger itself. It was outstanding! The jalapeños added a lovely flavor without being overly spicy, and the bun was exceptional--soft yet sturdy enough to hold everything together without falling apart. The meat was substantial and perfectly cooked. For condiments, they offer squeeze bottles from the fridge upon request. I opted for mayo on my burger and experimented with ketchup and mustard separately to see which I preferred. Honestly, the burger was delicious with or without the additional condiments. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and would highly recommend stopping in. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town!
