Honestly, Takapuna Beach Cafe still has the eggs Benedict crown, but La Dolce is chomping at their heels, the use of a hash brown was interesting and really works, the Banana smoothie was delicious, bordering on divinity. We arrived to find the place PACKED. Seriously. With this is mind, I was impressed at both the staff and the food. It was amazing watching the staff work - a seriously well-oiled, quick-as team. The guy serving us actually managed to be quite friendly- probably more than I would have managed with that many people to deal with.
