The food was typical of a Wendy's (I got the GJBC meal). However, the service was subpar. We went through the drive thru and ended up with a small meal when we wanted the large. We were relatively sure we specified that we wanted a large, but even if we did not, the employee never asked us if we wanted a large meal. Where should I begin this establishment should not even be open after hours. It only takes 1 person to mess up the flow of the crew. I work at night and since this is the only Wendy's open in that area late night I don't have a choice but to stop here. One night I went by and asked for a cookie frosty sundae and got to the window, paid for it, and to my surprise watched the young man scoop the cookies with a red scooper, put it on top of my ice cream, and evened the cookies on top with his bare fingers. I asked for a refund they gave it, but this young man kept insisting that he was using the scooper! Naw bro, I told him I seen you using your fingers while I'm sitting at the window waiting for you to finish making it. And now I don't want it. They tried to make me think I was crazy and still kept telling me he used the red scooper. This franchise turned me off completely. read more

I didn't think any location could be worse than the Browns Hill Rd one in Sq. Hill but I was wrong. Filthy dining room, incompetent staff, outrageous wait time and ultimately given incorrect orders. Spoke to Corporate about this and was promised a voucher to replace my burnt food. I never received it. Wendy's has been on the decline for years. THEY STOLE FROM ME AND MY FOOD WAS COLD AND UNPREPARED!! I will never eat here again !! I came with my family and asked for 2 $5 meals.. my order came up to $37 dollars.. how ?? I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW.. then when I proceeded to ask for my receipt it took 15 minutes to get me one (find out they put 2 extra drinks and meals on my order) !! I looked through my bags and my sandwiches had nothing but mayo chicken and the bun.. and trust me I asked for way more than that!! Costumer service was terrible! This location just reopened, and it is shockingly beautiful for a fast-food joint. Giant glass windows give a peek inside to the revamped interior, complete with the fancy-schmancy create-your-own-Coke machine. We got our order to go, and service was super pleasant and expedient, although the dining room closes at 10pm which means that the drive-thru line gets backed up onto Baum come 10:15pm. We'll see if hours adjust based on demand. In the meantime, it's the cleanest place to have "quick" food on Baum/Centre! read more

Didn't get a chance to order. This place always has the slowest drive-thru, so we decided to go inside. There were three people standing behind the counter and not one of them looked in our direction or said they would be with us. There were maybe three or four people waiting for their orders and no one else in line. We ended up leaving and going to Wendy's on McKnight, which was a whole different can of worms. Tanesia screwed up my drive-through order. The receipt was correct but one order of fries was missing. When I got home I saw that I hadn't received what I'd paid for so I called. I requested that $2.19 be credited back to my credit card but the person with whom I spoke refused to do so unless I drove there in person. I replied that I had no intention of wasting more time and would dispute the charge with my credit card company. I can't recommend this poorly run restaurant. So...a friend and I had been over at Shadyside hospital all day visiting someone. and had a yearning for wendy;s (generally quality food, good prices and we admire the committment to help adoptees) anywhere we got there after the dining room closed. the take out window was open. we found out that even though no sign indicates such, you need a car to use the take out window so after ordering and being told they couldn't give us the food instead of getting the car out of the hospital garage just to use the wendy's take out and then parking again we went to subway. so they lost business and probably had to throw the food away that was already prepared. read more

This Wendy's is one of the slower ones I've experienced. Their food is pretty much the same as any other Wendy's you'll go to, the difference is that it takes a lot more time to get your food at this Wendy's. They always seem understaffed and no matter the number of people in line, it always takes forever. As far as fast food goes, Wendy's is hard to beat. The ordering kiosks are very convenient, especially if you want to customize an order. It tends to get cold (and somewhat loud) inside, but there's an outdoor area which is great - only downside is the WiFi stops working outside. Overall, this is one of the best Wendy's I've been to. read more
