I had a very disappointing experience with this dealership. I purchased a used car that broke down after just two days of normal use. When I contacted them to explain the situation, they refused to respond. I took it to another repair shop and they tried their best, however it was ultimately deemed irreparable. Finally got ahold of Zach 2 months later. There was no effort to remedy the issue or discuss any reasonable solution. They did offer to charge me $50.00 an hour to look at it AFTER telling me it had a catastrophic electrical failure. It felt like once the sale was complete, customer service no longer mattered. I understand that used cars can come with risks, but a vehicle failing almost immediately raises serious concerns about how it was inspected or represented before sale. I would strongly caution others to be very careful when considering buying a vehicle from this dealer. Make sure to get an independent inspection and understand exactly what you're getting into, because support after the purchase will not be there. read more

Run, don't walk, as far away from this "dealership" as you can. They will sell you a pile of crap vehicle that gives you nothing but issues within a matter of days of driving it off the lot. The slogan listed on their website states "Driven to move you," however a more honest and accurate slogan would read "We run thick oil in our vehicles and cross our fingers that it makes it off the lot." My first experience with this establishment came on 7-10-2024 at approximately noon. I had contact with at least three employees. I sensed professionalism from all of them. For this place being "family owned" it's a joke. The office lady was amazing. But the sales guy is shady. Don't tell your customer that their trade in is worth nothing and give them 300 saying that's the best you can do and refuse to go up anymore then turn around and sell it as a mechanic special for 2,499! With the amazing google reviews I honestly thought we found a place that wouldn't screw us over. My bad I guess. For an affordable vehicle I wasn't left with a lot of options and found one here. Was able to get payments to what I could afford but to flat out lie to my face is bull! Don't sit there and claim you won't deal in shady business and then be shady yourself! Was looking into getting 2 more vehicles from there for my kids who are learning to drive but not anymore. Word of mouth can be pretty damaging. read more

Spent well over 6 grand on a car here. Within a week had to take it back because every light went off and my car was shaking really bad. They fixed it up and said it was good to go. Within a month my brake line snapped and I almost died. Took it somewhere else to get it fixed because now I don't trust this place. My tires were apparently trash too. There goes another thousand bucks. Three months go by and my car dies on me in the middle of the freeway. So thanks for tanking my finances. When I was in an accident in my vehicle was totaled I searched around in Beaver dam Waupun Watertown Slinger Madison and I went to this dealership and found an SUV the style that I wanted a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee with good mileage for a fair honest price compared to all of their dealerships at this time and I was able to get a new vehicle before my rental car coverage expired and the price that I got saved me money so I didn't go broke this is a very good honest dealership that likes to help their customers as much as possible I will always go back to them. Buyer beware. Bought a Ford Explorer in May. Only put 6000 miles on vehicle. Maintained properly. Motor blown, broken springs, bad ball joints, and about 25 pages of other issues totaling over $10,000 for repairs! Just talked to the owner and he blamed Ford, he blamed the shop I brought it to, he blamed the driver and basically said that everybody else was at fault! Will never buy from there again and if you do you better get everything checked out by a mechanic at minimum but I would suggest you don't. This was my daughters first experience buying a car, she saved for it and we put our trust in them and the failed miserably! They ruined her first experience and took her money that should worked hard to save! DO NOT BUY from them! Multiple reviews for cars issues at 8 months. Same excuse every time from the owner. Even apologized for my 19 year old vehicle needing MAINTENANCE, he calls a blown motor, needing a complete front end, $10,000 in repairs, maintenance for less that 6000 miles of driving. Stay away from this place. I was told the used vehicle I purchased was safe to drive, and it shut off on me while on the road (taking the power steering with it) a mere 5 DAYS later due to numerous problems, all but one of which were not listed on the contract. "Noise" does not translate to "a few hours of use before catastrophic failure." When asking the dealer for help, I was told they could fix it if I paid their mechanics $60/hour. In other words, they inspected the vehicle, chose NOT to fix a problem despite having the skill to do so, sold the car in near-death condition, then asked for MORE money to fix it. Buyers, look carefully at the other low reviews, and you'll see similar responses from Wenninger each time: "Where does our responsibility end and yours begin?" That should be their motto! Do yourselves a favor and find a more honest dealer with decent customer service. Wisconsin Lemon Laws do not protect used cars, so keep an eye out for red flags like this one. read more

i bought a 2007 chevrolet colbalt for my grandson on august 19th 2022.its the perfect size car for a new driver.has great gas mileage and for the year of the car the miles were low compared to what i have been looking at.so far seems pretty good no problems and there isnt any strange sounds also it has a good pick me up when you take off.everyone at wenninger had answers to all my question and were very pleasant to work with. read more
