Be wiser buy somewhere else. Worst buying experience ever. Long story short, needed a car and quick. Found a new 2023 Traverse at the West Bend location, near home, great. Bought from the West Allis location a long time ago and had a good experience. I didn't need a test drive, unfroze my credit, negotiated a deal said I'd be there at 5 to sign on the line, this was late morning. I get there, nothings done. Salesperson had no idea since the internet person I was dealing with didn't forward the info. Kept giving me a different number than what we had agreed on in emails so I had to show him that. He had to go talk to the manager a few times. Anyhow, I hand over a down payment of 12,500 in the form of a check. Only to find out car can't be delivered tonight and paperwork couldn't be processed. Next morning I find out there's better finance deals in lieu of rebate so i emailed again. She kept screwing up the numbers, sending me generic information that didn't apply to me etc. After probably a dozen emails just trying to get the number I was financing I was so frustrated I said screw it I'm going elsewhere and that I would be in to collect my check. She then announces check had been cashed and it would take days to clear and get a refund. I go to my bank online, check had indeed been cashed so I couldn't even stop payment. So I had no car, they had me and my 12,500 hostage for a car I hadn't even signed on the line for. I had no choice but to buy it. I'm now in a car I should be enjoying but all I think about how poorly this whole ordeal went and I was stuck purchasing something I no longer wanted. Heiser West Bend should be avoided at all costs!!! At least it's a nice looking car. Hopefully soon I'll be able to get over the sour experience this dealership had me go through.

Here is the slash on the bead. Was it improper mounting method on the tire machine? The slash was over 90 degrees around.

Tonight, was that night for me and I'm glad that Dave answered the call! He drove all the way to Grafton in his big Green Steed to save my hide and I have nothing but praises for his professionalism and expertise. Let me explain ... Against my better judgment, I drove 2 miles to Costco tonight to exchange some Cashews. I should have walked because I needed the exercise and it was time to take my Service Dog out for his last walk. But noooooo, the lazy lady in me decided to drive because I was craving a sweet treat and could only get it if I took the nasty Raw Unsalted Organic Cashews (I bought last month) back to exchange them for something yummier (preferably chocolate) -- LOL. Everything was going fabulously. Costco didn't even give me a hard time about not having a receipt. The exchange went well and I controlled my instincts and got healthy snacks instead of chocolate. I was feeling all victorious and decided to go home and walk the dog through downtown Grafton. Then, it happened. I tried to start the car and got NOTHING! I called AAA and after puttering around with a stupid BOT much longer than anyone should, a human ordered the tow truck from Bob's Main Street Auto & Towing! I was told it would take an hour but in about 30 minutes, I saw the big green steed powering through the parking lot toward me! I happily waved it down and out jumped my knight -- Dave! Dave came over and introduced himself. He got the keys and checked the car. He declared he could probably get the car started and got busy. After a quick assessment (on-site), he let me know that the battery was dead. Even though the lights were on in the car, the battery needed charging and probably should be replaced. I was able to drive home and he will help me get AAA to send a battery replacement tomorrow. Dave was so pleasant the entire time. He was all business but very human about the whole thing. He was the type of human being that I was happy to interact with -- polite, willing to help, patient, and empathic. It's nice that when I was feeling a little harried and kind of jumpy to encounter someone confident and reassuring. He made me feel safe and like I would get home without any unnecessary drama! I'm very grateful to have met Dave and his trusty steed tonight! I hope to never need the service again but if I do, I sure won't hesitate to call directly or ask specifically for Dave at Bob's Main Street Auto & Towing. Thanks Dave! If I were a Queen and had a sword, I'd Knight ya, man!!!

I…read morewas leaking oil and they "fixed" the leak by replacing a hose at a reasonable price of $100. I was sent on my way and a few days later drove to far Northern Wisconsin. In the middle of nowhere my check engine oil light comes on and seconds later the front end is smoking. I stopped and called for the inevitable tow truck. It was brought to their Shop and the mechanic informs me Half Price Auto used a standard hose where a high heat pressure line should have been used. This mechanic indicated it was a "no brainer" and any mechanic would have known not to use the hose Half Price Auto used. To worsen my situation, the engine was trash after the oil quickly drained out at highway speeds. I went back to Half Price Auto and they offered to do nothing to compensate me for killing my engine. They suggested I have the car towed 4 hours to their shop where they would look at it and decide if they used the wrong hose. They said they would consider splitting the cost of putting in a (used) engine. No, how about you contact the other mechanic or any other mechanic to verify you used the wrong part. How about you pay to tow the car back. How about you pay to replace the engine destroyed by your error. How about apologizing for your mechanics mistake? I guess that's what I get for trying to find Half Price Auto repair.
