Ryan was our sales guy he assured us for 2 days that we would get 5-6 interest rate. My husband bought his new truck. His credit score was 840. The interest rate he got was almost 10%. The finance person said that is what everyone is getting and the sales person shouldn't be telling customers this. They told us they work with 40 banks but they made us use GM finance. I was in the market for a new vehicle and as a previous Cadillac owner thought I'd look here. Walked in... two men to the right sitting at their desks talking to each other, didn't even look at us. Cesar comes from the back to meet us after no one else even spoke to us. Red Flag. There was a beautiful XT5 I liked, it was affordable less that $35,000 and good condition. Cesar was so close to closing the deal until..... We were using USAA for our financing and we wanted to make sure they were familiar. First they said we could take the vehicle.. ugh wrong. Cesar goes and gets some guy, Jim, Brian, I don't recall his name. We will call him Richard. Richard walks over, massive attitude, arguing with me over financing. My husband is outside looking at this vehicle mind you, and this guy is literally bullying me about how my financing paperwork was delivered to me. I calmly walk outside, get in my car, tell my husband what just happened. He walks in, takes back our financing paperwork and tells Cesar that Richard being a Richard just cost his a sale. He tried to talk about it and safe the deal, too little too late. Went to Lexus a week later, spent $50k, dealt with much better people, and got a beautiful car. Their loss. Be wiser buy somewhere else. Worst buying experience ever. Long story short, needed a car and quick. Found a new 2023 Traverse at the West Bend location, near home, great. Bought from the West Allis location a long time ago and had a good experience. I didn't need a test drive, unfroze my credit, negotiated a deal said I'd be there at 5 to sign on the line, this was late morning. I get there, nothings done. Salesperson had no idea since the internet person I was dealing with didn't forward the info. Kept giving me a different number than what we had agreed on in emails so I had to show him that. He had to go talk to the manager a few times. Anyhow, I hand over a down payment of 12,500 in the form of a check. Only to find out car can't be delivered tonight and paperwork couldn't be processed. Next morning I find out there's better finance deals in lieu of rebate so i emailed again. She kept screwing up the numbers, sending me generic information that didn't apply to me etc. After probably a dozen emails just trying to get the number I was financing I was so frustrated I said screw it I'm going elsewhere and that I would be in to collect my check. She then announces check had been cashed and it would take days to clear and get a refund. I go to my bank online, check had indeed been cashed so I couldn't even stop payment. So I had no car, they had me and my 12,500 hostage for a car I hadn't even signed on the line for. I had no choice but to buy it. I'm now in a car I should be enjoying but all I think about how poorly this whole ordeal went and I was stuck purchasing something I no longer wanted. Heiser West Bend should be avoided at all costs!!! At least it's a nice looking car. Hopefully soon I'll be able to get over the sour experience this dealership had me go through. read more

I had some work done on my van including a front end alignment and four new tires in November 2022. In May 2023 one of my tires showed a bulge near the rim with less than 5,000 miles on it. I made a call to have it replaced and before I got off the phone , the service writer told me it was my fault and I must've hit a pothole. They said I was 100% responsible for the new tire. Once the tire was removed from the rim, it was evident that the tire had been slashed under the bead, probably by the mounting machine when it was installed. The service manager told me that could've been from hitting a pothole. Really? I took pictures And showed them to Continental tire and they agreed that it most likely happened during installation. At this point The dealer offered to pay half. I told them I wouldn't accept half and I was coming to get the tire because it was evidence of what happened. A short time later they agreed to pay the full amount to replace the tire. This is why I give them two stars. However I shouldn't have had to fight for this. People make mistakes and I understand accidents happen, but when it does you, need to own up to it. This was very troubling. The trust is gone. i'm just very grateful the tire didn't blow up and cause me to crash. read more

They made it right! Just bought a beautiful Camaro SS from Heiser, price was great, car is outstanding, and the people that helped me were over the top nice. Got home to find the car had the wrong tires on it and these tires are EXPENSIVE! After a few phone calls Rick Nelson (GM) agreed to help me get into a set of more appropriate tires and apologized for any problems caused by the tires. Everything was going fine till we got very irritated by Bryan Shultz the finance guy that tried to get us to do a GM loan even though we told him we already had our financing from our credit union that we used for over 30+ years getting car and truck loans. He was rude, and then in ten to fifteen minutes later he was ruder because he couldn't talk us into a GM loan. We even talked about walking out. He shouldn't be dealing with anyone older than a millennial. In our book this guy shouldn't be dealing with the public in any way shape or form. Also when we went to do the paper work, the gentleman knew that we weren't going to buy anything extra. We asked how did he know. He said Bryan told him that we weren't going to buy anything extra. He made us sound like we were cheap. In fact we were going to buy the paint less dent remover and a couple of other warranties, but after that we chose not to buy anything. Also we told Cesar that we did not want the ON star but he said he had to hook it up. But that's not true, the last Chevy we bought new we asked them not to hook it up but when they did turn it on we were in the vehicle right there to turn it off immediately. That's what Cesar should have done. It took us a phone call and 25 minutes to get it unhooked. That was irritating because he said he has to put it on but he could take it off when we got there but then when we got there we would have to turn it off - so that was a lie. Now that we are back in Wisconsin, we are going to notify GM about this dealership experience and anyone else we can let know about it. read more

I was pleased with my first visit to this dealership for my general oil change and maintenance. I was informed of the care that would be completed on the vehicle and the length of time it would take. I was offered a car wash and vacuuming if my time frame would allow. I was introduced to the lounge to wait and updated 2x during the stay of progress on my vehicle. The lounge had many options for seating and a private closed door room for quiet business work to be attended to. They also had coffee, tea, and soda available while you waited. I brought my 2011 Chevy Equinox to Heiser, because the dealership where I originally purchased it could not schedule a service appointment for at least 4-5 days. My vehicle was running and sounding rough and I didn't want to wait that long. I was very pleased when I brought it in and Nathan H. was able to correctly diagnose the problem immediately, temporarily fix it, and schedule a service appointment, and a recall issue(seat bolt), the very next morning. I purchased a used Z06 2016 Corvette from Heiser Chevrolet last Friday June 22, 2018. 10,000 miles. I was told before driving from North Carolina to the dealership in Wisconsin that the tires on the car were new. They were swapped when it's previous owner traded it for a new 2018 and wanted to keep the Black wheels of the 2016. Ok I believed George Koening the sales rep. I bought the car and headed back to NC. Staying over night in Indiana I noticed the tires. They did not look new. I don't know anything about these Pilot Sport Cup tires but told George that they did not look new, in fact they looked worn. OK home about 900 miles total. I wanted to program the memory seat/steering wheel, and it would not retain settings, so off to my local Chevrolet dealer for help. Easy, go in settings and turn on memory. Find that in your manual! While there the GM was asking about my car and the miles. 11,000. So he ask about the tires. Says they are well worn and needing replacement! Really! I call George, he wants pictures, I provide. He wants written statement. I go to Goodyear and provide. " Tires have excessive wear" per store Mgr in writing with quote for new tires. I provide. Throughout the day & several calls and pictures with penny in groves, George is relaying that the GM & Sales mgr are insisting these are new tires, swapped from a 2018. By the end of the day I have been told: - These are new tires off a 2018 Then! - These are new tires, and George has the receipt, installed May 9. Which is it guys, the stories don't stop. They are worn tires! Then the story changes, George says.... These racing tires wear out after 900 miles of driving on a highway. At least now they accept they are worn tires but after 900 miles "Excessive Wear". Who out there accepts that story? I have had good experiences at other dealers & this is not the 1st used car I have bought over the phone. But this dealership or George is not good for their word. These are not new tires as I was told before I bought the car! or OK 1000 mile tires. I take the blame, I believed George. read more

I originally went there for an oil change. I walked out of there being told my battery needed to be replaced, my head gasket needed to be replaced, (because it started smoking when they started my car to bring it out to me) a couple of seals needing to be replaced because they were leaking oil. My check engine light was on (which I knew about) and I was told that would just be $89.99 to diagnose. I myself nor my husband, have ever had issues with the head gasket smoking, the car overheating or seeing any oil on the ground from where it is parked because of leaking. Not to mention the battery has never caused us any issues either. So, I took my car to get a second opinion. (From where I bought it) Low and behold, my head gasket is fine, as is the battery. (Which I didn't even say I was told 'needed' to be replaced) there are a couple small cracks in the seals, and I was told at this dealership it would be $29.95 to diagnose the check engine light. I knew going in that my front brakes needed to be replaced but am confused as to why your dealership would charge me $375.95 and another dealership would charge me $310.00. Also, why would it cost me $89.99 to diagnose a check engine light by you, but only $29.95 elsewhere. I am so frustrated by the fact that I was told I needed all this work when that is not the case at all. Getting a second opinion saved me just under $1500...if not more. I was going here because it was more convenient then going to where I had purchased my vehicle from. But, now I can say I will not be going back, I will tell people about my experience, and would not recommend anyone to go there. read more

We worked with a nice salesman, but had an overall lack of customer experience from managerial level. Sold us a vehicle with a 8inch scratch in it, never taking us around the vehicle to inspect. (Should've known better, but it was my first buying experience.) Stated they would take care of it and repaint. Their "fix" turned into a paint job that had bumps and divots in the paint. Was told they would be in touch to fix it the right way & never called. That was over 2 months ago. Thank you Yelp! Heiser saw my post and decided to take action. I thank them for doing that. They reimbursed me in full, but I never heard back from GM. Heiser has been good about fixing problems. Unfortunately I have to many problems with my vehicles after taking them in for basic work. The last incident was with my Chevy Impala. After oil change the tire pressure monitors were not relearned, 2nd shortly after the oil change I found my car to be leaking oil. I took my car to holiday in fond du lac and after paying 100$ I was informed I had problems with my oil filter that was installed by heiser mechanics. I can no longer go back to this dealership. Sorry heiser let me know when you get mechanics that can properly maintain a vehicle. read more
