They have 40 flavors of brats, so there's something for everyone. You can't go wrong with the classic brat, but our favorite is their most popular - the beer and cheese curd. Unfortunately they were out when we came by so we got jalapeño popper brats and Wisconsin three cheese brats to try. I love that in their case you can buy single brats of a bunch of flavors. We got a few to try and the surprise favorite was the pineapple teriyaki brat. It was sweet and tangy and really unique. I would definitely buy a package of them next time. The woman working was really helpful and let us know you can call and order ahead of time. We'll definitely do this before we come in town the next time that way we can be sure to get the flavors we want!

If the timing of a visit is right, there are also some baked treats -- cookies, bars, and similar -- ready to top off the grocery cart. Farmer's pantry has all of that but at a reduced price. It's a combination of overstock and some slightly dented items, but everything is priced less than at a regular grocery store. The inventory appears to change frequently. The people working here are friendly, but not in-your-face. It's a nice place to shop for reduced prices on things like soup, cereal, rice, meat, soda, baby products, cleaning supplies, pet food and general miscellaneous items.

We have also had quite a few items ring up a different price than what the sign posted said or the flyer said. You have to watch those things at this store.

After a bit of asking around, coworkers later confirmed the name of the place so, after a day of training, a group of us made our way to sample some wine. The store itself is small (it's converted 3-car garage) but don't let that sway you from stopping by - it's filled with various Wisconsin products - wines, beer, meat sticks, Nasonville cheese, curds & other local crafts, etc. What really gives the place character is the outdoor seating areas which even includes an outdoor fireplace that they kindly lit for us so we could enjoy the snacks & bottles of wine we purchased after the tasting. By the time we left the other seating areas were filled with other people enjoying the breezy fall weather. The wine tasting featured 4 wines from Fawns Creek Winery located in Wisconsin Dells: 1. Granny's Gold - Riesling enhanced with green apple juice (my fav) 2. Cabernet Sauvignon 3. Riesling 4. Kilbourn Red - a cranberry-flavored Shiraz red My coworkers and I were happy with our little visit to This & That. I thought it was worth the 8-ish mile drive from our hotel on Central Avenue. The owner pouring the wines was very welcoming and the bonus was catching the beautiful sunset (see pictures).

I put my full box on the belt and this guy yells at me,"Don't put full boxes on my belt!" And then he dumps the box out violently. I won't be shopping in Marshfield again. I have had many experiences of rude people who work there,but never at Eau Claire Aldi or Wisconsin Rapids Aldi. Maybe don't hire people who can't handle fast paced environments.
