I enjoy the calm environment nice and quiet. Food is always good and service is always nice have yet to be disappointed.

We came here on a Thursday night. and discovered a wonderful place. My daughter and I ordered the California and Chicago sushi, while her fiancé ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken from the Chinese section on the menu. Our sushi was delicious, fresh, and so hit the spot. Her fiancé thought the Sweet and Sour Chicken was better than what we had in our hometown. When I saw the check, I was more surprised that our dinner was less expensive than I thought, being that it was half off all sushi dinners for that night. The only downside was the service. The place had only about three tables with customers, and the wait staff was slower than what we thought would be expected. Otherwise, I wish we could have this kind of place in our hometown. read more

Pleasantly surprised! Called in my order after work and it was ready in about 15 minutes. Love that! The food was of good quality, tasty and I will say you get the bang for your buck! I ordered to go, but the ambience is very family friendly. They have quite the variety on their menu, I will definitely be ordering in the future to try new things! Last thing I will mention, if you use your credit card to pay there is a 2% charge. This was not mentioned to me but I saw a sign with this information after the fact. read more

The food there is pretty good, the Egg Rolls and Gyoza's (Potstickers), are truly awesome, and not bad priced either, as 2 Rolls and 6 Gyoza's for about 10 dollars, not a bad price, and the Japanese Soda they have in bottles, though takes some getting used to getting into, aren't too bad either. A small Chinese menu is also included on the menu for anyone not liking sushi or the 'bento' boxes ('Lunch Tray' style meals with several food items, rice, meat, ginger, wasabi, and two pieces of sushi). One may come in on Game Day and enjoy sushi at the bar while watching the big game or else just dine in with family or have a party of friends dive into a 'sushi boat', for a modest fee enjoy a considerable of selection served up on a wooden toy boat, very cute! Service is good and waitstaff is very hospitable and do their best, and the serving of saki in a variety of ways, both canned and in glass tumblers, as well as hot teacups, is very good, albeit a bit strong, only thing here is that the koi pond only has goldfish and not actual koi fish, a bit disappointing, but the gold fish are nice to watch also, they are quite friendly and will swim right up to you at a certain corner just by standing there. read more

I was looking for a Japanese place to eat while in Marshfield for a doctors appointment and this really hit a sweet spot. The sushi was really good and professionally served. The miso soup probably wasn't my absolute favorite but it was refreshing. I will definitively be back for my other appointments. The atmosphere is peaceful and the staff is friendly. We went for our son's birthday. We all ordered off the lunch menu and off sushi menu. The hibachi lunch was incredible. It started with a fabulous clear soup and salad. The soup was flavorful and it left me wanting more. The ginger dressing on the salad was fresh. The hibachi lunch was one of the best we've had with delicious rice and a sauce for dipping that was to die for. Our son had many types of sushi and sashimi. Each were a work of of art. Stopped in to order takeout, great service and good quality food. I don't live in Wisconsin anymore so I only come to town a couple times a year to visit family, was hopeful that this would finally be a decent Asian food option in town that would have the variety I crave. Not disappointed! The sushi rolls I tried were very decent, the tempora was delish. I have solid hope that other Japanese dishes would be done so well. Others in the family just wanted the usual American Chinese things, the kung pao chicken looked really well done/presented to me but it was a bit bland - I'd say ask for extra spicy if you want any spice at all. The "crab rangoon" were of course the completely Americanized version consisting of tons of cream cheese and no crab taste, not even any discernable imitation crab - but hey, that's not why we get these things anyway, right, and for what it actually is, fried wontons completely stuffed with sweet cream cheese, yeah, they were craveable to the max. All in all, great takeout and pretty reasonable/standard in prices, at least to me but I'm coming from out of state now. Lunch special is a really good deal. Whenever I am in town, I always get a choice of 3 rolls of spicy tuna, spicy salmon and eel roll. They are delicious and the quality of sashimi is good. Especially for that price, quality and quantity both are amazing ! Recommend! read more

Biggest issue with this place is the workers kids running around and climbing into your booth while your eating. The food is delicious but the place needs a cleaning especially the menus every page is sticky and stained. Better to order this to go, eating in is disappointing and uncomfortable. read more

We tried this restaurant yesterday. The interior is as nice as any place in Marshfield. We both had the lunch boxes. Everything from the miso soup, salad, rice rolls dumpling etc were very tasty and the portions were generous.The menu is extensive. With the Thomas House closing Marshfield needs a place like this. Do not be put off by the location for it has undergone a comlete makeover. read more

I've enjoyed sushi all over the world and this sushi is right up there with the best! Don't let the "small town" location scare you away! We eat here nearly every week and have not ever had a bad experience. Definitely recommend the Chef's Special sushi rolls, or any of the salmon dinners- so good. HUGE portions... My son and I end up splitting a plate from their "Chinese" section and we still don't finish everything. My husband loves their sushi options -- he is highly allergic to shellfish and they are very careful with making his order each time. Staff is very friendly. Atmosphere is calm and inviting.
