It is troubling that they were fully available to communicate on weekends when accepting payment, but now refuse to discuss a refund until a scheduled meeting on Monday at 1 p.m.--a delay that only wastes more precious time in an ongoing custody matter. To date, no substantive work has been completed on the case. Not a single motion has been filed, not even an entry of appearance--the most elementary step in representation. Instead, we've witnessed failed attempts to access the Cuyahoga County portal and have had to file our own motions and records requests to move things forward. It appears their focus is on prolonged billing rather than effective legal action, which is entirely unacceptable. I am formally demanding a full refund of the $5,000 retainer so that I may secure an attorney who will act diligently, ethically, and in my best interest.
