Took a nice walk and checked out all that they have to offer. We walked the perimeter of the park for a total of 1.74 miles. The path was paved and shaded at times. Plenty of parking for the various activities and fields. It was a huge sports complex. They also offer activities for kids, adults, and families. Pasco County residents pay $10 for the year for the membership. read more

My friend lives in Wesley Chapel, and so she gets access to the Recreation Center in the park for free, just by showing her identification. We met here Saturday morning to join an existing group of Pickleball players. I arrived early so I drove around the park first. The place is very large and seems to have every type of field you can imagine. There is also plenty of parking which I love. I decided to walk on one of their walking trails, which took a nice route around the pond, and near some of the fields. The weather was cool the day I was there and it was lovely, but there didn't seem to be many shade trees near the path, so it might be too hot to walk here in the summer. I finally went inside the recreation center to meet my friends for Pickleball. There is a group that meets here every Saturday morning, and you just rotate in and out of playing. Most of the people were very welcoming and helpful towards the beginners (me and my friends), and we really had a great time. At first only 3 courts were available for use, but then 3 more opened up. If you are interested in getting involved in the sport, this is a great spot to start. read more

This is a great park that I have been to many times, plenty of sports to play and plenty of parking. I have only been to the basketball courts, although I have seen the soccer field and a kids playground. I certainly need to discover all that this park offers. read more

This is a nice park in Wesley Chapel! There is endless green here. They have baseball fields, soccer fields, a playground, picnic tables, etc. There is tons of parking here for all the weekend kid's games. It is pretty clean here as well. I wish they had a physical building like my local park districts back here where they offer lessons for kids and adults like classes, etc. perhaps they do, and I am not aware of it. All in all, this park is nice and huge for my dog to play without concern of cars nearby. read more

Worst soccer field conditions we've ever played on. The rest of the park seemed nice. But no one should attempt to play soccer on these fields until major renovations are done. The Florida Premier Spring Showcase made a big mistake using these fields for a tournament. We won't be back. read more

This park consists of many athletic fields and outdoor courts. You can play soccer, football, baseball, tennis and basketball. There's a fitness trail, picnic tables and grills. Great place to ride bikes, rollerblade or walk your dog. There's also an updated playground that my boys love. It's an inclusive playground for kids that feature a merry-go-round, swings with harnesses and interactive instruments. The ground is made of rubber which is perfect for kids. Unfortunately, there's not enough cover to protect children from the sun. The playground next to it is the same. Not enough shade over the equipment. I suggest checking the slides before your child plays on it. There's swings for babies and older kids. However, not enough benches for parents to sit down to watch their kids. There's also no fence around the playground. The parking lot is close by so it can be dangerous for smaller kids who may wander off from their parents. Thankfully, there's bathrooms nearby and water fountains. read more

The new playground equipment is fun for all ages and has a variety of different types usually not seen at other local playgrounds. One section has "interactive play" including a xylophone, telescope, megaphone, spin ball mazes, etc. The turf in this area is a rubber type flooring so that it is easy for wheel chairs and flooring. My four year old loves the "meri go round" here. It's a bench the can be spun. There is also room for a wheel chair on it. It's fairly heavy, so kids can't spin it too fast. The other playground is just a typical playground area with slides, ladders, etc, but larger then most in the area. There is a large covered picnic area near by and a bathroom. This playground has mulch under it. The two areas are next each so kids can go between them easily. My only issues with the playground area is that there are not enough benches around them, no sun shades over the equipment and no fence either. The parking lot is very close to the playground area, so you could bring your own chairs. read more

This is a great park. We have visited several times during soccer tournaments. The fields are nicely maintained year round and they even have a turf field. The facilities for the other sports seem nice as well. There is a large playground and plenty of parking. 5 stars because even the bathrooms were clean. read more

We love this park! Discovered it when I met a moms group here and there is so much to it. They have areas where you can plan soccer or basketball or so many other sports. There are roads where you can basically go for a walk and circle the entire park. There's a section where there are benches and it's covered so there is plenty of shade and restrooms! It gets REALLY windy though so be warned. The kids playground has a variety of things to play with for the younger and older kids. The downfall is that it is not covered. The bigger issue I have are the large ant piles (most likely fire ants) which I am deathly allergic to. What if one of the kids walk through it by accident? One of my bigger fears..... read more

We stumbled upon this park after checking out a preschool nearby. The playground has seen better days, but was nice and open for the kids to play. I love the area this park covers. It's not normal to find a large park like this nowadays. I miss having room to run and play soccer or baseball like this park offers. It's sort of out in the country type area but really a great reason to travel out for. We love this park and keep coming back when we have family in town or friends visiting. We stumbled upon a really huge grill type thingy in a pavilion nearby the playground area too, mental note for future get togethers ;) Definitely stop by if you're looking for a nice open area. read more

Today was an awesome day! Came out wit the family to enjoy some Jazz music. It was really nice. A lot of vendors were out selling either food, clothes. Some vendors were out promoting their business. This park is huge and it was just perfect to sit in the grass to listen to music. read more

Way up North off SR 54 is Wesley Chapel District Park. This park houses fields for various sports, including, lacrosse, soccer and softball. There is even a basketball court. My son plays lacrosse here and during practice I can get a good workout in on the 16 mile trail that is there. Although I haven't made it a full 16 miles the running, jogging and walking a few miles is fine for me. read more

Nice place to play sports... Only thing is that they need to provide more support to adult soccer... We sometimes play better at night because of work schedule but lights at soccer field are off while basketball or tennis remain on for a while after dusk. Other than this will get 5 stars read more

Fields are a little crappy. The town also does not keep the field maintained correctly.

Can't play soccer on any of the 4 fields the have because they lock all the goals up against the fence facing backwards. If you do mange to find an open one, someone on a golf cart will come kick you off it then turn the goal around and lock it. So all you can really do is basketball and tenis if you can find an open court. read more

We appreciate the open green areas to run around and play however we truly wish the kids playground was covered. Sometimes the equipment is very hot and it can be a bit much to keep the kids out there to long. Love the trail around the park. It would be great if it could be entirely paved and marked better. read more

I have always enjoyed playing sports and this park. There is always plenty of parking and it's clean. You can also find bbq grills and small area for birthday parties. During the game time, you can find some basic food like hot dogs, nachos. The food stands are usually manned by volunteer patents. There is also a walking trail that goes around the park. I was very happy when I found a park so close to my home! It was very spacious and had a lot of things going on. The only down side is that I wish they had more parking by the tennis courts because once it got crowded we had to park pretty far away. Either way, my children loved it! So happy kids = happy parents. read more

The walking trail has been closed for 2 years now. I've emailed several people and the reply was they are working on it. Yeah right.

Very clean and safe to practice sports. The offer many different fields for various activities for very affordable fees for local kids. Bathrooms are always clean as well. Night light is provided which is a plus. read more
