A lady seating next to her, told her the time slot was open, so that's indicative the appointment was changed We sat down to wait to be called, we could hear the rude lady talking about us. They called us and put us in a room for one hour and a half so we couldn't see they were taking other patients ahead of us. With my years in ER's, and Navy hospitals, I have worked closely with MD's and OD's and have almost always been impressed with the approach to care and treatment with OD's overall. Medical doctors (MD's) and doctors of osteopathic medicine (DO's) are both licensed physicians who have similar medical education and training requirements, but they are significantly different in their approach to patient care and philosophies in general. MD's are trained in allopathic medicine, which is based on the use of drugs and surgery to treat symptoms and diseases. Way too often it's all about prescription meds for symptoms and not about addressing the causes, sad. DOs, on the other hand, are trained in osteopathic medicine, which emphasizes the body's natural ability to heal itself. They're trained to look at the whole person, including physical, emotional and even spiritual aspects, and consider how those factors may be affecting a patient's health. Some even use a hands-on approach to diagnose and treat patients, that can incorporate manual manipulations and other physical techniques. Note, both types of physicians are qualified to provide a wide range of medical services, including preventative care, diagnosis, and treatment of illnesses and injuries. I may be biased today as my wife is a doctor of Naturopathic Medicine and we're both Reiki practitioners however DO's were my chose of doctor before either of us went down those roads, they just fit my idea of good medicine. He came in, reviewed my chart with me, went over all my concerns and we had a great conversation. I'm extremely pleased with this office, the nurses, physician and nurse practitioner. I can't say enough good about them as I'd really be here for awhile. I would recommend them for any type of visit sick or well and for all ages. Came into this clinic trying to figure out what has been biting me. Itching unbearable…read more We are from Washington state and there are a lot of new creepy crawly biting things that we know nothing about. Walked in, had about a 30 minute wait, not bad. Called back into a room, described what was going on to the nurse and waited another 10 minutes. Doctor came in, didn't listen to what I had to say, talked right over me, never even looked at my bites. He was with me maybe 5 minutes. Just told me he was going to write a prescription for an antibiotic so that my scratching doesn't get infected. Really! No insurance, so $92 for the visit and $112 for the prescription. I finally ended up dousing myself with deet for 2 straight days/nights and had no more problems. I do not recommend this clinic.
