Huge disappointment for the mega bucks my aunt is spending to live there. They do not even have a working generator. My aunt called me after a recent storm to tell me the facility has been without heat and electricity for days. She spent four days sleeping on the floor in the lobby where there was some heat, along with numerous other residents- ( picture a frail elderly lady with compromised health ). Many of these people camping out on the floor were coughing and sneezing. When my aunt called me I was at Church 3 hours away making preparations for my grandson's Christening and I rushed out as soon as my aunt described what I later saw with my own eyes. When I got there she asked me to check on her best friend who lives in the skilled nursing section. Well, the story gets even worse, because skilled nursing was closed off to visitors because it was quarantined. The staff was going in and out of both sections spreading the virus around. My aunt said the phones were not working in that section and there was no way to contact those people. After the fact, I was in touch with the friend's son who was disgusted that his calls were unable to go through to even find out how his mother was doing. A reputable facility would have been prepared to handle these sort of situations. This place is poorly managed and I would never recommend that anyone even consider it for their family member. I am furious about what has happened to my aunt, but even more concerned for the ill people living in skilled nursing who were apparently without heat and unable to connect to their families.. Also, I was later informed that other nursing homes and retirement facilities in the area all had working generators. The Executive Director is clearly not effective and needs to be replaced. read more

My grandfather, a Holocaust survivor and decorated Korean War hero, is a resident at Wesley Enhanced Living Mainline's skilled nursing facility. He receives loving, individualized, impeccable care. The Director of Nursing, Kim Ratliff , is highly experienced, humorous, kind, warm and very accommodating. My grandfather, who had a very hard life, is very happy at Wesley. He loves the quality of the food and the amazing dietary staff. They honor his vegetarian lifestyle. The beautiful newly renovated facility is spotless. Of course, the care is more important than the building. My family is so impressed by the care that my grandfather receives. Everyone is so kind and attentive. They have a very dedicated, helpful social worker and a lively, creative activities department. My grandfather never had such a social life! The housekeeping and maintenance staff know my grandfather and talk to him. My grandfather's clock was broken. The maintenance department fixed it right away. During this very stressful covid era, they do all they can to keep the residents safe and entertained. They also go way above and beyond in connecting residents with their families on zoom and with window visits. So, if you need to find a skilled nursing facility for a loved one, Wesley Enhanced Living Mainline is the very best. read more

I placed my mother at Wesley Main Line at the beginning of february. She originally was going there for Rehab after a fall. Little did I know that this would become her permanent home. But I couldn't be happier or more pleased with making the decision to have her live there. As an RN I am very familiar with Healthcare settings. Wesley Main Line has proven to be the best of the best. In all my anxiety, worries, and fear, the staff has eased it all. I I'm so at peace knowing that my mom is receiving exemplary care. She is treated with dignity, respect and the utmost kindness. The facility is clean, and the environment is comforting. Every discipline goes above and beyond to make the residents feel, loved and respected. As a family member I am treated with the same respect and kindness that is provided for my mother. The staff has been patient, understanding and supportive of all my questions. They've directed me and next steps, and expectations. There is no doubt in my mind that I will always recommend them as number one. The decision to place a family member is it difficult one. But the staff has walked me through every step of the way and gave me confidence in knowing I did the right thing. read more

My father was admitted to the Meadows Skilled care section of (Martin's Run )Wesley Enhanced Living Main Line during January 2015. He was treated with the care and attention that you would expect from top class care establishment. The nursing staff were very kind and patient and within two months my fathers health had improved greatly and he was very content and secure in his new surroundings. So much so that we decided to put our faith in the management and staff and move him into the assisted living section of this facility, known as the Pines. The Pines is a lovely area with large bedrooms with ample lounge space for visitors. Again, the care staff are very attentive and look after my fathers every need and concern. He enjoys the good selection of meals provided and the company of the staff and his new band of friends he chats to daily. The administration team are first class and keep us updated regularly as to any personal issues and account issues which need discussed. It is very reassuring to have such attentive support as we live in Scotland,to know that Dad is receiving the best of care and attention and is only a phone call away. I would like to tell you about my Grandmom, who lives in an apartment here. The Administration is trying their best, and pulling every dirty trick they can think up, to ruin the remaining life of my sweet and wonderful 91 year-old Grandmom, while also making my Mom's life as difficult, stressful and unhappy as possible as she tries her best to take care of my Grandmom's needs, trying to keep her as happy as possible, as she attempts to cope with the never-ending underhanded and sneaky complications administration is constantly dumping on her shoulders. WHY are they so cruel and cold-hearted? WHY are they trying to do such mean, awful, low and hurtful things that will destroy my Grandmom's happiness for the rest of her life? WHY do they want to make my sweet Grandmom, who everyone loves, so unhappy? Administration, if you are reading this, PLEASE do not do to my Grandmom what you have planned! I beg you! I do not want my Grandmom to die of unhappiness. She has told me she would rather be dead than live in the environment you will shortly be forcing her into. read more

Mom chose Wesley Main Line Independent Living due to location, affordability, amenities and the indoor pool. The community recently upgraded their common areas and the result is much more inviting spaces. During the pandemic, I received frequent email updates on COVID-19 testing, cases and safety practices at Wesley. They coordinated the vaccination process for all of their residents. The pandemic has been tough for families but at least I knew that mom received wellness checks, meals and room maintenance when we were not allowed to visit. Mom recently sent a photo of her and Wesley friends enjoying an afternoon wine tasting, doesn't that beat worrying about mom sitting home alone? Thank you to the staff at Wesley Enhanced Living Main Line for giving mom a healthy and active lifestyle. read more

My mother, who had dementia, was a resident of the Assisted Living section here, until she died. She fell off a chair one night and broke her hip. We wonder - how could this have possibly happened??? After all, we moved her here so she would be safe... This is, by far, not the only issue my family has had with this facility. How much heartache can one (extended) family take? I wish we had stayed away from this place. read more

My father had an absolutely nightmarish experience at this place. It is anything but "Enhanced Living". The whole debacle is too much to put into words. Please think at least twice before sending a loved one there. Horrifying. read more
