My experience with this apartment complex has been extremely disappointing. I was advised by the leasing agent to apply and pay a $350 holding fee in order to "lock in the rate." After paying, I was then told the rental rate fluctuates and that I'd need to wait for the lowest possible rate. For over a month, I followed up consistently and was repeatedly told to wait, only to find out--just two weeks before my scheduled move-in--that the rate was actually higher. I pushed back, since I was told all along that waiting would secure me the lowest rate. The agent promised to finalize everything, but then stopped answering calls. A week later, I had to physically go to the office three days before my move-in date. At that point, I found out the agent no longer worked there, none of my information had been transferred, the apartment wasn't ready, and I still had no lease or confirmed rental rate. When I expressed my frustration and requested my deposit back, the manager simply apologized for the lack of communication but refused to refund my $350, even though their negligence caused the entire issue. I was told I could still move in because the apartment would supposedly be ready one day before my scheduled move. By then, I had lost all trust in their process. This experience has been stressful, unprofessional, and a waste of my time and money. I will be escalating this legally to recover my deposit. HORRIBLE first three weeks! In hindsight, I would not have moved here if given a second chance and highly recommend reviewing the complaints against them on the BBB website. Moved here from NY, and received an apartment infested with biting gnats, roaches, mold and an AWEFULLY pungent smell from the living room carpet on day 1. I expected the issues to be addressed urgently since they were present on move-in, however, it took 1 full week before pest control treated my apartment and several days after that before the carpet was steam cleaned. The smell from the carpet made it impossible to sit in the living room comfortably, the gnats bit me constantly and the roaches were everywhere, on my bed, in my drawers, everywhere! Despite multiple treatments, plus my own extensive cleaning, the infestation and discomfort persisted. I was then offered the opportunity to transfer apartments or to cancel my lease without any form of reimbursement; so, I opted to transfer. Management only offered $500 total reimbursement even though the movers alone charged me $724 (ALWAYS MACON MOVES LLC, Horrible service!!!). Therefore, I was made to fund the difference in addition to my own moving expenses just 3 weeks prior and was never compensated for the 3 weeks of living in hell in the first apartment!!! The new apartment was a bit cleaner but still infested with roaches. After another round of extensive cleaning, I now have to be spraying my new apartment every other day to reduce the influx of roaches. My complaints to the Better Business Bureau went unanswered despite multiple attempts. Pros: Amenities of the pool and gym are nice. However, the gym opens when the leasing office opens around 9am and the pool opens in the afternoon, offering limited flexibility. read more

The management are Inadequate. After moving out of my apartment unit 11208 in 2017, 2yrs after in 2019 they decided to place a collection on my credit claiming I owe debt. I paid all my bills on time. After moving out I cleaned the apartment and made sure everything was ok. They did a walk through said everything is fine. For starters, I wish I could have rated them lower. I called months before time to relocate, just to inquire, I gave name and email for updates. Started off very friendly and professional (Some reps). So as time got closer I reviewed the property, liked it and eventually applied when I was advised to apply. Ended with rude and unprofessional behavior. No remorse for one's livelihood. I was told apply 1.5 weeks prior to move date. I did and was "pre approved ", ( once credit and income was appealing to them). I was given an address and info to set up other services, which I did. So I call back few days later just to confirm all is well, and no one can speak to me since I've now started working with another rep. So fast forward, I'm now told they forgot to fully submit my app after they ran my credit, and I now have an inquiry for a place I don't reside. So now I'm at odds because of this and their restrictions on timing to apply. Another 3 days go by and no communication or response to my emails and calls. I call again upset and now they're laughing and hanging up the phone. Now, I'm furious and finally someone can at least take a message to call me back for status. Now they claim they need more information then it will be SUBMITTED. I ran out of time due to their games and asked to remove me and my info. Also, had to stop ALL SERVICES at this location. Thankfully, another community took great care of me and I am now living my best life !!! read more

I lived at Wesley Providence for over 10 years and only moved because I left the state. I only had one slight hiccup when I switched to a new unit that was resolved in a timely fashion. The property was always clean and well maintained. Personally, I never saw trash in front of anyone's door or on the grounds. My maintenance requests were always always handled quickly and I had quite a few over my time there. The front office staff was great - I mainly interacted with Cynthia and Adrienne and it was always pleasant. Adrienne would text me when I had a package in the office too lol. However, the entrance gate was almost always broken lol. But, I never experienced any crime or issues with the property so it didn't bother me. I just didn't bother getting a phone line connected to it. My favorite part however was the pool. It is very big and usually clean. My nieces loved it as well and it kinda spoiled them actually. I will say the only thing I didn't like was the hours you were allowed to use it. It didn't open til 1p on the weekends and 3p on week days. If I'm being charged extra ($9/month) for a pool fee, I should be able to use it when I want. We wanted to go earlier when it was a) a little Cooler and b) not as crowded. my sister & I are both educators so we have the summer off and wanted to go swimming before 3p. Other than that, It's quiet and friendly. And i definitely would've stayed if not for my relocation. read more

I have been without a working stove for 6 days now. Called the leasing Office and they claim the property manager and the maintenance supervisor is out for today. Plus I asked them how much longer for the part for my stove arrives and the lady on the phone said "I don't know". At this point I need money taken off my rent because a stove is included in my lease. This is just horrible I can't even cook so I'm forced to spend unnecessary money and eat out. I wonder how they would feel if they didn't have a working stove. read more

I lived in this community for 2 years and wouldn't recommend it at all. Professionalism is non - existent. Kunella King is extremely rude and condescending. Maintenance issues are met with zero urgency. Gunshots and break-ins are looked over. Extremely under-to-date appliances and design, especially for the price. Walls are paper thin and several grievances about my neighbors banging a broom against there ceiling (my floor) to get my 1 year old to sit down went ignored. My neighbor and I eventually worked things out amongst each other, but Ms. king initially promised to move me into a bottom floor apartment being that these differences were clearly irreconcilable and just never followed up on that promise. read more

There's a lady that works there now name Cynthia, she is VERY RUDE. I can't ask a question without her getting smart & rude. When I first moved there she kept harassing me asking me if I lived there EVERYTIME she saw me & I was pregnant at the time. I showed her all the keys & key cards & she wanted me to show her what apartment I lived in which showing the keys was enough. I can't even have a conversation on the phone in the office without her butting in & cutting me off to be rude. Then I shouldn't say anything or else she going to make them "terminate" my lease so I must sit here & take the disrespect??? They need new people in the office that's willing to listen & communicate without being rude & getting smart at the mouth. Bad for the business!!! read more

I have lived here for about 2 years. If I wasn't moving, I would renew my lease again. Pros The apartments are spacious. The pool is beautiful. The landscaping is maintained nicely. The office attendants (Mirtha, Jonathan,Adrian) are great! Ricky (the maintenance guy) is great at fixing things in my apartment). Cons It's impossible to get your shipments (packages) because they will leave it at your door and my neighbors steal. I have had at least 3 packages stolen...so the neighbors are the issue. I think the property manager is rude. Every time she speaks...she has an attitude. I avoid her at all costs. There are many hidden fees..only one internet and cable provider, renters insurance needed, the water bill. But overall, it's well communicated BEFORE you commit. Summary Overall I think it's a great apartment for what you pay DEPENDING on who your neighbors are. read more

Nice looking apartments on the outside. Prime location right across the street from the mall but it's not a very good mall. Not many good stores. The apartments maintenance staff doesnt communicate and ALWAYS does a half ass job. The property manager is nice but it's over 200 units only so much she can do. Some of the staff in the leasing office is nice but they don't communicate either. No one ever really knows what's going on. They need a change. My apartment had brand new stainless steel appliances but my washer and dryer was old and sucked! so before my review i read other reviews and most of the 5 stars are people that don't live here or that just drooped in for an inquiry and USUALLY, not all consults, bug them to give a 5 star rating on there service, please ignore that what matters is after month 2 of move in and beyond secondly there's one person that has posted extremely blurry/pixelated pics and she doesn't even have furniture lol come on people now let me say this is my first time living at this property and i don't know any of the employees personally 1. gates stay broken across apartment complexes invariably, but doesn't mean i wont dock points at the place I'm staying at, whether the property manager will own up to it or not(and she doesn't) you have peoples lives at stake and basically apart of my expenses goes to the gate. FIX IT! 2. I've lived here since OCT 5th 2020 and at the date of this review all of my work orders at move in inspection have not been tended to, and no i will not continue to remind the staff whose job it is to tend to the tenants, i work in IT not property management. 3. I've had my unit broken into 3 weeks after living here, i made sure all doors were locked, and was researching a security system that would meet my needs so i admit i didn't have one, nonetheless when speaking with the property manager, kanella king, about my letter of intent to break the lease she literally said verbatim "we aren't an alarm company, crime doesn't have an address" i swear to that on my life. although these statements are true its in the manor she spoke them, i try not to use this term due to everyone using it when they are disgruntled but this is the first true slumlord I've encountered. I'm a veteran leaving SOF so my PTSD has been rampant everyday since I've moved in, i barely have a good nights sleep, could you live comfortably by waking up at every tree branch scraping the window, loud voices, which happen all over this property people are lying saying its quiet I've heard gun shots TWICE in one month. during our talk she kept blurting over telling me when the last break in was, when she would say "we haven't had a break in since..." she would stutter and just say "a long time" that scares me its obvious this is above your means to handle and the only thing she's worried about is keeping her job rather than be good at it basically doing bare minimum like most managers do unfortunately. and let me add on the call it was obvious she was barely keeping her head afloat with this job, she told me she read my letter while reading it on the phone saying "ay yes" lol smh i dont know about you but i like my money and domicile to be handled by someone that can do so 3. trash is constantly over flowing how can you take pride in where you live, and invite guests with grounds not kept, outside of gradual leaf blowing that's done in the breezeway 4. the units are definitely over priced and outdated, band aid repairs, and no renovations. My bathroom makes me feel like I'm in the 70s, so does the kitchen. For the level of crime in Lithonia the teams lack of responsiveness in MY experience i would highly suggest you look elsewhere . this is also an opinion of someone who has lived in military communities where they are big on pride and presentation of EVERYTHING, also customer service. If you're standards are low then be my guest come here. i agree with every comment about ms. cynthia she is the only reason i don't come into the office belligerent EVERY time trust me i wouldn't feel bad doing so otherwise, you can tell she truly cares. This is all MY EXPERIENCE, just one person, i just hope you look over the fluff and 5 star reviews of the tours, information given at walk in, and how the pool looks lol. I looked up apartments in ATL with no credit. This is one of the options but of course they do require you to have good credit as well.

The entire staff are an incredible group of people. They demonstrate a friendly and authentic concern for your problems and needs. The maintenance crew work quickly to any request for repairs and any other issue that have occurred requiring a rapid resolution. Cynthia was the main reason I wanted to live here. She does an incredible job of taking great care of all residents especially her clients. As for the rest of the staff, they are 5 star in handling the needs of every tenant as well. I am very happy living at this location and would plan to live here long term if buying a home wasn't my next step. Great community of people. Great amenities and anything that may have gone wrong, they made sure to quickly respond and make it right. I love that style of priority of excellent customer service. read more

i would give it a zero if it were possible. Its a nice complex, pricey but nice... the property is well maintained...there tends to always be an issue with the gates not working properly or simply being broken and open because of it. if they are working they are open for 12hrs of the day which seems senseless as its a gated communuty which allows full access to anyone from 0600 to 1800. There is another gate at the rear of the property however you cannot gain entrance there; which also makes no sense. The staff leaves A LOT to be desired! Actually they are horrible! They cannot ever and i do mean EVER be reached by phone.. if you go into the leasing office they are very inattentive. Be prepared to be ignored if they are even at their desks. Maintenance requests submitted on the portal, which is the only real form of communication, largely goes unacknowledged so be sure to submit them numerous times if you need something done. I submitted a request 3 times regarding a light bulb in my entrance way that was out before i moved in and im still waiting on asaistance with my smoke alarm. A request i put in regarding a blocked venting duct has also gone unaddressed. My lease is up in October 2016 and I will be leaving; Ive been looking for another place since January. Ms. K King will respond to negative reviews ive noticed however it is a lame attempt of reaching out. the number she gave me to contact her on a review was not a working number and i informed then of such and there has been no follow up. Maintenance did show up following my Google review but he did nothing; he claimed he need to check with his manager before doing anything and then never returned and of course here it is a week later and still no word. Save your money and find a place where you have comfort, affordability, customer service and peace. this is not the place. read more

I've lived here six months and the apartments are nice but the management is awful. They are completely rude and incompetent and there is a huge lack of communication between the office and the maintenance staff. Our apartment was not ready when they said it would be and when our AC broke (in July) and we reported it to the office, it didn't get fixed for several days because somehow maintenance didn't know about it even though I was constantly calling the office about it. Security is not good here either. The security gate at the front entrance is always broken and we have had things stolen from our vehicle. We have also been told by a neighbor that his vehicle was broken into and another upstairs neighbor's apartment was broken into (right after maintenance was called in for a problem). Overall, the actual apartment is nice. It's a good size and has a great layout. But the management problems and safety concerns make it a bad place to live and I would not recommend it. read more

The apartments are spacious and location great...BUT...don't do it. Trapped in to single-source provider for cable and internet. Liked the idea of a gated community, but when people don't have a gate mentality its useless. I really think that the applicant pool is as much a problem as anything. They'll rent to ANYBODY - and I mean ANY BODY. Which creates the problem because it's easier to get them in than get them out (not sure they try too hard to get them out because they get a check for them being there). People throw trash all outside the dumpster. Imagine paying more than a $1000@month in rent and dealing with trash everywhere and people cursing and smoking weed all over the place...No Thanks. read more

The gates were always broken! Many nights I have seen cars sitting on cynder blocks cuz the tires were stolen....always came home from work with neighborhood kids hanging out on the stairwell til 10p acting obnoxious...saw people sitting in their cars smoking dope or smelled dope around through the stairwell....office staff very disorganized by always "LOSING" paperwork from the lease to the 60 day notice letter. PLEASE make copies of everything! Car care center drain always clogged! Bring your knee high rain boots, cuz otherwise you will be washing the car in 2ft of water....the apt itself was very dated Appliances from circa 1980's...no microwave! The money spent on the exterior building needs to go into the apt to update! Don't be fooled by the model and the exterior...FAUX hardwood flooring in my apt didn't match... read more

This place is just ghetto and the leasing office very disorganized and they always losing paper work. Please make copies of the lease and your notice to vacate. I had issues with the fob not working for the gate and to enter the gym. It would take Adrian 2 weeks to fix it. You always see neighborhood kids hanging around the stairwells til midnight. No one has control over their children. There is always some idiot drag racing his mustang throughout the complex like he was on a race track. Very sketchy complex. The stairwells needs to be cleaned. I did not feel safe here and constantly saw cars with stolen wheels. I was counting down my move out. Oh and please get ADT in your apt , if not , expect a break in. read more

The apartment itself is OK the only thing that I don't like is that you have to keep calling the main office where no one answers if you have a question I also had some work done in the apartment that should've been taken care of before I even moved in but overall the apartment is self is really good however I don't see why we pay for the gates when they very seldom work they also need to add speed bumps because the cars drive through like they are on the highway and I'm not sure why every year they keep going up on rent when you don't see anything being done like where is the money going? read more

Management is the worst all the way down to the drunk pool monitor. My experience has been terrible. Looks are very deceiving. The outside of the buildings are disgusting. Back to management. What type of qualification do they look for. When dealing with a serious issue, stick to the issue at hand and stop responding defensively and listen to the problem and come up with a solution. Not believe everything you hear because if that's even true. It's understandable that management really does not know how to handle issues dealing with tenants if they don't have a clue that your pitiful pool monitor starts the majority of your problems and you keep him monitoring your pool intoxicated. The problems start with management. If you do a better screening of your tenants you probably wouldn't think the worst of them and there families. Look a little closer management and recognize where your problem comes from. read more

The absolute worst place to live. The manager Ms. King and the assistant manager Johnathan are very rude. Its starts with them and they are a couple of pigs. They are always raising the rent. They double your utility bill when its time for you to move, they start charging extra fees that they cant even explain and when you try to resolve the issue the first thing they say is that you'll hear from our collection agency, without listening to what you have to say. If I didn't buy my house, I would not renew my lease. Don't even try to call the office phone they never answer. Any major issues you have with the apartment will not be fix. They only fix the minor issues. I hate the new office unprofessional staff they have; which is a result of their managers, rude dump unprofessional managers leads to unhappy staff.
