Not the friendliest of establishments. Took 20 mins to get a drink at the bar, was ignored by the bartender. The crowd is kinda intimidating. The cocktails are decently priced. Unfortunately the soda dispenser was out of CO2 and it was flat. Cash only and the ATM inside doesn't work. read more

Definitely a neighborhood bar-predominately Mexican. Since this corner bar is attached to a house I'd assume it's family owned? My heart goes out to all the surrounding houses in this residential area-it's the only business in a sea of houses....Don't have much to say about this place. Cash only, but they have an atm. One or two craft beers on tap: $4/pint, and they do pitchers. Clean; big flat screen for sports (or tab fun game shows just because they can't conceive of simply turning off if nothing special is on). If I'm stuck in this odd area with cash, I'd stop for a pint or two. I awarded 4/5 based on what it is: a true neighborhood bar in a very modest outer urban enclave. The crowed here seems law enforcement related which shouldn't deter you because everyone shouts and roots for the Bears. Have only been here a handful of times and have always been treated well. They have a large yard attached next door with outdoor TVs (for that one month of Chicago summer we get) and they grill burgers and sausages for game day. It's a great spot considering the neighborhood doesn't have a lot of clean, well maintained, friendly establishments. Any other non-sports time this bar seems quite low key. read more

I walked in to this bar to watch the NCAA March Madness game with Michigan. It was either come here or miss an hour of the game since we were South for a birthday party. There was a birthday party happening there with a bunch of late thirty crowd. Although I regretted judging the crowd because they look like they used to gang bang back in the day, I have to say they were very nice and welcoming. They kept talking to us and making us feel welcome and what can I say the beer is very cheap. I could keep drinking all night with only $20! Next time I will give a location a chance before judging it. read more

I simply love this bar. Came here for a Bears game and let me tell you that it has been a great experience. Neighborhood bar so you can compare it to something you find on the loop. They have a decent selection of beer and the customers that come here are great. It's the reason why a come becuase of the customers this bar has. The atmosphere is always great and it feels like your a part of something. During half time there is plenty of food to go around, which is so wonderful. I do have to say that I only been here for Bears game. But the impression its left on me always makes me come back. Bar is well kept. You can watch the gane from any seat you take. i live about two blocks away and I'm 22 years old. I tested the waters with my other state id (a mexican matricular id), which is accepted at every bar i have went to and I've gone to this place three times. Older crowd and has a nice pool table, but the older bar tender is racist and went straight toward me and not my friend and attacked me about my id how "no offense but he could give a !@#$ about that id" so i didn't feel like taking out my illinois state id after that since now i know what type of people run this place. Acting like that in a predominantly mexican neighborhood is dumb. read more
