This review is based on 'my' years of experience…read more I'd like to post a better review, especially for the owner! This kindly gentleman is genuinely interested in providing the kind customer service that make these small outlets a treasured and valued part of our local community. The issues lies with some his staff and how his business is run. Who runs who!? I never know what kind of (surly & entitled etc.,) attitude I'm going get when I walk through the doors. The store never seems to be properly stocked for what I'm looking for most often than not. I usually, time permitting drive to New Street to save myself the trouble. In my experience they behave like they own the place and it's a privilege to be served by them!!! Words of advice. Don't ask too many questions, you don't wanted to feel like your being scolded. Call first, to see whatever your looking for is actually in stock. Having said, there are some very nice (younger) staff who are genuinely interested in providing good customer service! Ps. The first problem was a drawer in the fridge that wouldn't stay closed...Darcy assured me that was normal. Not normal according to kitchen aid. about 2 weeks after the install we found water had been leaking down into the basement and when we pulled the fridge out we discoverEd the water line had not been installed properly and had been leaking and ruined the whole side panel of the cupboards in our brand new house. when we approached them with the issue Darcy told is it was our problem because apparently after you have a "professional" install your appliances you are then supposed to pull said appliance out from the wall and make sure it doesn't leak???? That lady was sweet as pie until she got our $$$ and then basically told us to go away. Such a rude arrogant person to deal with. I wouldn't ever recommend buying anything from there ever.

A friendly no pressure discussion about the various product lines which they themselves use in their home provided us with the initial feeling of honesty. We briefly checked online for comparable pricing and that was not an issue. The promise of direct contact through them for all of our service needs was also high on our list. There was also a no pressure sales tactic on warranties etc. it was a discussion that allowed us to decide for ourselves with no judgement. The gentlemen that came to install new and take away the old were very polite and demonstrated an educated product knowledge. They gave us whatever time we needed to become familiar with the product and they were in and out in a personable, clean and timely manner. We will recommend this business to our anyone who asks.
