How…read moreever the Brantford store is way under staffed by eployees who hav no clue about the products they sell and they don't care. looking for a bearing puller that had a 12 inch span, found a 10inch one but when I asked an employee I got.. what ever is on the shelf.. nice.. helpful.. then 6 customers in the store waiting on 1 employee cashing out people and the lady at service desk making herself look busy even passing the buck to the other guy for returns. over all I won't shop there again.. a bunch of clowns with no knowledge.

I asked the employee when they would get more in and he just said "I dunno". He then tried to sell me one that cost $100 more than the one I wanted. I went to the cashier and she looked it up for me and said they have two in stock. Another employee helped me find it and it was right beside where the first guy was standing when he said they were sold out. I will never shop there again.

I went to the store and saw the door was open, so I called again, no answer. I finally roused cashier who just standing at her counter. She told me to call the order in so I told her nobody is answering. She told me to keep try again. I called again and there was no answer so I went bak to the door and asked her if she could just grab me some yard waste bags, I'll tap to pay and it will be over in 2 secs. She said I need to call, and told me there was no manager to speak to. I'll never go to another Home Hardware ever, and I'll tell whoever I can about my experience.

It was later in the day but our late arrival did not stop Steve and his wife from allowing us to browse undisturbed. They kindly sought out several project boards from the back room that had not been on display yet. We purchased three beautiful slab boards and some other items, among them a very hard to find replacement lever for my Jointer. I was surprised how little it cost and was very impressed with the variety of other wood products, tools, abrasives and cabinet hardware. Too much to list. I would surely have bought more if it wasn't so after closing time. We intend to go back every time we pass through Embro and can only hope this gem stays around longer. Carlo & Lori from Hamilton.

They are also online with their whole product line and ship anywhere so it's convenient if you don't have time to get to Embro.
