To me, it was a long shot, even with near perfect credit!, but I listened and followed Myra's instructions to a T. She worked, I worked and together the refinance came through as she said it could, with the rates she originally quoted, and she got it done five days ahead of the MSA deadline I was facing!! To be able to look my boys in the eyes and tell them we will be able to KEEP OUR HOME!!! was priceless. Me and the boys all hugged and shed some tears the day escrow closed! After posting my initial review, Gary has since reached out to me an apologized for how he handled the sensitive information snafu and assured me that he takes personal information seriously. We discovered that it was an honest mistake that he sent information unencrypted. In fact, his business is set up for secure communication and his communication to me happened to slip by based on a reasonable failure to understand the limitations of the security software he already had in place. He has used this incident as an opportunity to understand these limitations. I believe that he is now well equipped to always make use of his security software, and believe that this unfortunate incident will not repeat.

In my experience, Jeff is an excellent salesman who is very reassuring on the phone and tells you exactly what you want to hear regarding service levels. However, once the engagement began, I found that the actual performance did not match the initial promises; when it came time to execute the work and answer questions, he became effectively unreachable. My experience included the following: * Communication Gaps: Despite choosing their highest-tier service plan for its 48-hour communication policy, dozens of emails from my business partner and me went unacknowledged throughout the year. * Delayed Reporting & Financial Impact: I requested my books be finalized by mid-December to allow for year-end tax planning. Because this was not done, I was unable to make strategic business purchases before the year-end deadline, which resulted in a significant financial disadvantage for my company. * Filing Accuracy: Upon seeking a second opinion from another tax professional, I was advised that two deductions on my filed return were applied incorrectly. This has necessitated a formal amendment to my filing. * Unfinished Deliverables: Work on my books for the prior year did not substantively begin until after the calendar year had already ended, despite my repeated requests for completion throughout the fourth quarter.
