When I lived in Sulphur, I decided to get a Chase bank account. I would not recommend this to…read moreanyone. The tellers that were there were not helpful. They would pretend to be, but they would not accurately explain anything to you, nor did they seem to even know what I was talking about. Working as a bank teller now, I can say I am shocked how often I got the go around and people that had no clue. They didn't understand what account I had, they tried changing it and gave me the wrong info. They were just so clueless. I also had credit problems later on and this is more aimed towards the corporate rather than this branch as I dealt with it on the phone and they would not work any payment plans out with me or take any money unless I made the whole payment (which I did once I saved it up). Chase also upped the interest on my parents' loan with no warnings even though they never had a late payment and consistently paid on time every month. My father called them and they refused to work out anything and it was a ridiculous increase (nine percent!!!!!!).

No one had an answer to my question, and passed the message on to the building next door (different department I assume). I received no response, so after a week called back. The girl on line told me if no one knows how to answer my question, just go on line to bill pay and set it up for which bank I wanted my payment taken out of. It got the payment issue solved, which is good for them. It did not get my question about removing my husbands name and putting the account and vehicle in my name. So I guess I can say that I am not at all impressed with the service, and it's basically a DIY bank. Until I get the problem solved I will leave it as is, but once it is paid off I will not use the establishment again, and will not open any new service with them.
