Dr.Bob and Daisy were incredible. It was the best dental experience I have ever had. I went in with a horrible molar toothache. He explained everything and my options so well. I barely felt the numbing shot which is where most the fear comes from. They made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. Even had a little music playing in the background which helped me relax even more. I am so thankful for them. read more

Staff was extremely rude from the office staff to the dentist Dr. BOB. I missed an appointment due to other health issues im battling and they threatened to drop me as a patient!!! They are nice until they get your money, my mother was treated badly also. My advice is run! The doctor is non compassionate and very rough in handling you!!! Very disappointed here! read more

I had been having a problem with a tooth for a while. I was in excruciating pain. I took a round of antibiotics that did not help at all. I went to Orange Dental and they helped immediately! They made sure is was comfortable and the staff was very friendly! They pulled the bad tooth and gave me excellent care.Thanks so much. I feel 100 times better. Thank you again, Jere. read more

Run don't walk away from this practice. I've never had such a terrible experience at a dentist before. For a simple lower extraction I now have a dying brown upper front tooth. Dr.Pooja banged the top teeth so badly that after the procedure my top teeth hurt worse than the actual extraction. When I returned a week later to tell Dr. Pooja, she said I could have done it myself. Dr. Pooja put the blame on me! read more

Patient comfort and satisfaction are extremely important to our dentists and staff members. We treat all age group of patients in a very friendly and warm environment to make your dental visits as relaxing as possible. We accept Medicaid & CHIP, and are in-network with all major PPO insurances. We provide flexible monthly payment options to make your out of pocket cost more affordable. We also have an in-house specialist for surgical procedures such as wisdom teeth extractions and placement of dental implants. We offer flexible evening and weekend hours to fit your schedule needs.

Meet the Manager: Dr Louis M.

Dr. Louis "Bob" graduated dental school in 1984 from the University Of Alabama school of dentistry. He says the past 41 years have been so great, but his passion and desire is to help his patients in the Orange and Port Arthur area. Dr. Mendel is at the “top of his game” in the field of dentistry. His other passions include roadside bicycling as he has specialized bicycles.On his free time, he and his wife Tonya enjoy playing bridge and love to compete in bridge tournaments around the USA. They are both bridge master players. Ultimately, he likes to contribute and educate patients about the importance of keeping up with good oral health. After receiving multiple services here, I recently discovered -- only because my HSA required verification -- that I was overcharged on several visits (approximately 4-5 separate services). This was never brought to my attention by the office, and I would not have known if my HSA had not flagged the transaction. When I looked into the charges more closely and compared them with my insurance Explanation of Benefits, the amounts did not match what I should have been responsible for. This raises serious concerns about billing accuracy and transparency. Patients should be able to trust that they are being charged correctly, especially when dealing with in-network providers. It's extremely frustrating and stressful to have to catch these discrepancies on your own. I strongly recommend that anyone visiting this office carefully review their bills and insurance statements. Based on my experience, I cannot confidently recommend this practice.

The guy that was removing the cement hurt me badly. I was in so much pain and it felt like he was burning my teeth with the drill. I was in tears. He was cursing and kept telling me to be still. It hurt! Finally the Doctor came in and finished removing the cement from my teeth. They didn't polish my teeth before I left and my teeth feel like sandpaper. I do not recommend this office for braces.
