This review applies to Chase Bank in general, not a specific location. Chase has a so called smart chip in it's debit/credit cards which facilitates unauthorized use with no fail-safe security measures in place. If my card is lost or stolen, anyone can use it in the "dip" option at stores or other locations. This option to pay requires NO pin, signature or ID! Looks like Chase, and any other banking institute with "smart chip" cards, have taken a giant step backwards and we consumers are left highly vulnerable. When I contacted customer service I was told I could not get a new card without the chip, My only recourse is to report an unauthorized charge within ten days of the transaction. My card should be completely useless to a thief not MORE accessible! read more
