The studio itself is easy to find in t he Landen shopping center. The classroom is a large setup with plenty of room for students to work on routines as a group or spread out and express themselves during solos. A comfortable lounge area up front for the parents to relax while the little ones learn. The cost per class is very affordable and the diversity of available styles such as tap, ballet, jazz, hip hop let you or your child experiment from year to year to find what speaks to you. Showbiz also boasts one of the most award winning competitive dance teams in the area. In 2010, our teams traveled the region scoring amongst the top in virtually every category entered, including one remarkable performance by a dancer who managed to take 1st, 2nd, AND 3rd in the same category (yes, three different solos). The owners ARE very unprofessional and dismissive. Communication is horrendous and any questions or concerns (i.e. money, cancelled workshops, etc.) are met with defensiveness, excuses and use of "free" merchandise rather than real solutions. Beware they do not offer refunds, but you will get a "credit" for what THEY feel they owe you. It's extremely disappointing that a business that has been around for 21 years is ran so badly and doesn't have a better ethics. I'm sure they have a huge following, but this was my 1st experience with Planet Dance, and I will be dancing my happy ass elsewhere to get a more positive and honest experience.

The ceremony was held upstairs - another cool room with the two pianos, theater-style seats and dark wood. I think the venue has a lot of cool details to offer - and my bride said they were SUPER flexible and very affordable. We decided to rent some bar height tables and use some of the rounds supplied by the center. This allowed us to have more of a cocktail party vibe and gave more space for dancing. Our ceremony was held at the city gazebo just across the street (on other side of new Distassi venue). The upstairs sanctuary at Wyoming Arts was our backup location for the ceremony. My husband and I stood on the front porch for our processional to welcome the guests. We were very pleased and everyone enjoyed themselves at our event!

A working farm and store, open to public tours and events…read more We attended a wedding reception at Gorman Heritage Farm just north of Cincinnati, and we loved the farm! There are animals to visit and a small store with eggs, honey, produce, pasture-raised chicken, other local foods, fresh-cut flowers, and various books, clothing, and merchandise. For our event, they put up a huge tent, so we had breezy shaded dining. This was next to another covered structure, for a breezy shaded dance-floor. And there was a food-truck bar as well. In all, a clever use of their space for a fun comfortable event. We had access to their farm for self-tours, and i think there were guided tours and feedings, too, but we walked ourselves among and petted and brushed and fed the humped mini "zebu" steer, non-wooly Katahdin sheep, goats, mini horses, a mini donkey, mules, about six of rabbits of different kinds, and chickens. And beehives! We were there for a special event. The Gorman Heritage Farm is open to the public Mon-Sat for under $8 per person. Come see fun farm animals and products!
