They offer a ticket discount every Tuesday, all day, and also have showings of classic movies on Wednesdays and Sundays. The theater is busy but usually not crowded. It's easy to buy tickets on line to reserve your seats, and they feature all the current movies. We saw both Project Hail Mary and Marty Supreme there! There's a lot of free parking and the theater is handicapped accessible. We highly recommend this GTC theater!

I asked one of the staff members why they didn't use the mobile check-in scanner, and he mentioned it's only brought out when the theater is extremely busy. Still, the overall experience was enjoyable. The theater was clean, the seats were comfortable, and the prices are hard to beat. If you have the AMC app, it's much faster to order your food on the app and then go pick it up on the shelf. Leave lots of time for waiting for concessions. As with most theaters, everything is wicked expensive. I went to a matinee, got a large drink and a Coke, and paid $47 and some change. Ouch. Seating is very comfortable, with lots of leg room. Image and sound were both very sharp. Very pleased. Workers were okay. Not terribly friendly, but not sulky either. So so. Mostly just kids doing a job, not thrilled about it, not bummed about it. All in all a good experience, just expensive and a long wait time for concessions.

What Rome Seven has going for it versus the competition is this: you are probably not going to be treated like an unattended toddler. Nobody is going to be checking for outside food and drink; nobody is going to try to tell you where to sit in the theater; and nobody is going to come in and remind you to be quiet. The thing is so many teenagers come here on the weekend, you sort of wish that last part weren't the case. Oh well. The downside - there is no stadium seating here and I'm pretty sure there's no surround sound. Pretty sure "The Conjuring" would has been scarier if I didn't have to lean in like I was watching television at Grandma's house and if the tall guy two rows down wasn't obstructing my view. Call me a grump - go ahead, I admit it - but I can't help feeling that old theaters don't have a right to charge the same admission price as new theaters when they don't have the same amenities. Alas, adults are $9 at Rome Seven ($9.50 if not paying in cash) and that's the going rate at much nicer, newer venues. A customer walked out to request a refund- the customer returned to report the theater refused to issue refunds & could only offer customers to view the movie at a different showtime. This theater SUCKS. And for it to have a 4.2 out of 5 simply proves that Rome has no idea what an actual movie theater is supposed to be.

They have a small arcade area that lines one of the walls so you can kill some time before a movie or kids can play while waiting for parents to pick them up. The second you walk through the doors the smell of fresh popcorn hits you in the face. Instantly made me hungry. Movie prices and concession prices are in line with any other theater. (sorry, not sure what they do for economy times). The staff was friendly and took good care of us (really only saw them paying for tickets). Oh, you buy your tickets inside, huge plus if its cold and/or rainy. I would come here again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others.

In 1950, it is listed with with a seating capacity of 500. It is still in use and has been gracefully restored as a multi-purpose venue.
