If I could give no stars I would. This was by far the worst experience ever watching a movie. The theater was so hot and our seats were awful and nothing like the image showed. They also didn't make sure you had tickets so there were young kids trying to steal everyone's seats who didn't have tickets. So basically they were seat hopping and people had to ask them several times to get out of the seats they paid for. The seats were so small we had nowhere to put our elbows without hitting the person beside us. read more

We frequent AMC Hiram 14 often and LOVE that this location (like most AMCs in the Metro Atlanta area) offers a 30% off discount for shows before 4 PM. The experience with customer service can vary based on the day and crowd. They have special deals for popcorn and drinks sometimes and their seats are comfortable. I also like that you can choose your seat when you pay at the counter or online in advance, so that you don't have to worry about finding a random seat upon arrival. This is very convenient if you are running late too. My son also enjoys playing in the arcade area. You can play the basketball game for 50 cents a turn and that is his favorite game. The snacks are pricey (like all theaters), but they have specials regularly through printed flyers and the AMC Stubs program. On our most recent visit, we were able to redeem a free large popcorn with the AMC stubs birthday reward and enjoyed the new Spiderman movie (which was AWESOME BTW). The popcorn was fresh and tasty. On another recent visit to watch the movie Elemental, the popcorn was burned. Sometimes, there is a lack of cleanliness in the movie theater and restrooms. I was disappointed to see that there was NO soap in the ladies room when we went to see Spiderman, luckily I had my own in my purse. Overall, the prices keep us coming and the popcorn, when it is fresh and not burned. I recommend this location for matinees. read more

While it was a late night movie and very empty, it felt like no one was really available. No one was scanning the doors and basically we could have enjoyed a free movie. Had to instruct another patron where to go to get their ticket scanned. Further this theatre is due for a remodel. Missing panels in the ceiling of our theatre where the hvac was possibly repaired. Seating isn't as comfortable as one would like and we moved around in them a lot during the movie to attempt to get comfortable. Being this is the one and only theatre in close proximity of our city we would like an upgrade hall! :) read more

I watched Spiderman: No Way Home here. There was only one cashier and when I finally got to the window (three customers later), I was redirected to the man at the podium since I purchased my ticket online. My sister warned that the seats were uncomfortable. So much so that they couldn't enjoy the movie that they saw and no lies were told. I shifted around in my seat trying to find a comfortable spot/position and it simply did not exist. Another con was that the screen was small for a 3D movie. The theatre itself has a nostalgic, built in the 90s vibe to it but it's definitely time for a renovation. Pros: staff wore masks and they were polite. read more

The workers there should be ashamed of the food they served. First they handed me some nasty looking sliders. I told them I would not eat that and to give me a hot dog instead and they gave me a dog in a broken bun! Then one of the workers kept telling the girl who made my hot dog that it wasn't her fault and that it was the manager's fault. How was it not her fault when she made it? This was so disappointing. We showed up 20 minutes before the movie time, there was a sign that said tickets on the inside, where???? We went to the concession stand and we bought tickets there, the guy waiting on us kept running back to look at his magazine, I finally asked, where are our tickets???? He waved his hands at me and proceeded to print them out of the register, we went into the theater and had to watch over 40 minutes of previews before the movie came on, it's was supposed to be 3D, very blurry, the only other patrons in the theater asked us if the movie was blurry, YES!!! she went and reported it within 30 seconds we had 3D, horrible experience read more

Worst movie experience I've ever had. I took my two daughters to see The Little Mermaid in 3D. I purchased the tickets the day before and arrived to the theater 25 minutes prior to start time. My girls and I waited in the concession line for 50 minutes to just get popcorn. Meanwhile, the movie had already begun. During the time in line, I saw many people get out of the regular line and go to the Premier membership line. It didn't seem that anyone at the concession counter was checking memberships. This made the regular line take even longer. When we finally got into the theater, there were people in the seats I reserved. When I asked them about it, they stated that people were in their seats, so they couldn't move. Keep in mind, it's pitch dark, and patrons are trying to watch the movie. I went to get the manager to support me. He came in and tried to figure out the seat situation, which was unsuccessful. Finally, I offered for my daughters and I to sit anywhere there were 3 seats next to each other, just to stop the disruption to the theater. We watched the remainder of the movie from the top right corner of the theater, missing the beginning. read more

We took the family to this theater to see the SpongeBob Movie. We chose this theater because the matinee movie prices are $5.75 if you go between 4-5:30pm. We didn't know of any other theater that had matinee prices this low. However, I think they make up for the low movie prices by charging a lot for the food and drinks. We usually don't buy popcorn and drinks at the movie theater because of the astronomical prices, but we decided to splurge a little. The cost of the popcorn and drinks was more than the cost of the movie, but it was good. The seats in the theater were comfortable. Great entertainment and fun for the entire family! read more

I don't love Hiram AMC, the film quality never seems to be as good as other big theaters and the sound doesn't seem to stand the high quality test either. It's not bad for a midday movie. The popcorn on this trip was a little stale and not very warm which was disappointing. I would say if it's not too far of a drive, I'd go to a different theater but if this one is super close and convenient, then it'll get the job done. read more

I use to love this theater but cleanliness is lacking. The floors are stained as well as the seats. Teenagers are running this theater and don't seem to care about cleaning or customer service. Popcorn is not always constant. I continue to attend movies her only because of the location. We came here last night for a free screening of King Arthur: Legend of the sword. This used to be a carmike's cinema and I guess AMC bought them out recently. I did notice that the screening was focused on carmike properties, maybe a marketing gimick for AMC to bring in people to their newly acquired business. I did talk to one of the staff and they said that AMC took over officialy as of April 10th. Anyways, lines to get tickets here are almost non-existent. However, the concession lines will be longer, especially during busy hours. I'm not sure if they are already implementing the premiere queues, but it is available (didn't use it since the lines were not that bad when I came in, plus It gave me time to think my order through) Seats are not that bad, but if you've been used to recliners, better stick to those :) We were in cinema 8, and it is clean. The projector might need a tune up as the left side was getting blurry (wasn't able to read the text properly at the beginning of the movie, and confirmed the same during credits). The theater is clean as any theater could be, and also includes a small arcade. Food is about the same, but the service could be faster. I guess they were not used to the sudden big crowd due to the free screening :) I didn't see any boxed candies, but they do have those coin operated dispensers at each side of the concession stand for candies of different varieties. Parking is definitely not a problem as they have a huge lot. Hopefully, AMC spends a few more bucks on the carmikes to make them at par with some of their properties. :) read more

My husband and I have been to this location numerous times and each time, we are sorely disappointed. Lord forbid we go past 9pm. On more than one occasion, on a Sunday night, we have looked up listed movie times on google. After finding the preferred time, we Call and make sure they are open. We go out and eat, head to the theater only to be told, "The listed movie times on google do not match our actual movie times, and I'm sorry, we are closed." At 8pm on a Sunday? Two weekends in a row? Needless to say, this is not the only qualm I have with this place. Every time we go, the theaters are dirty, the bathrooms are disgusting and the concession area, where you would add butter and condiments to popcorn, is usually so messy that I am uncomfortable even touch the butter machine, and a straw? Then to get passed up several times by the new amc premier members. We decided never to go back to a theater where you have assigned seating and does not care about those who have already been in line and push those who just arrive first. Had a group large enough to fill nearly an entire row in the back throwing food/condiments, yelling, swearing, using flashlights, laughing, and running up and down the isle the entire movie. Multiple people complained and management did nothing of substance to correct it. Whole movie ruined and I only regret not demanding a refund. read more

Although the seats in the theater could recline a bit, have a higher back, or more leg room, I though this place was very clean with good screens. We saw a 3D movie on a weekend, with plenty of parking and many tickets left. The best thing about this chain is they let you sign-up for a rewards card and they have very, very discounted showings, in the afternoon and on the weekends. I went to this theatre to watch Dr. Strange. It is a small theatre with the nice recycling of the huge popcorn bucket ($21 annual payment and about $5 for refills). The staff was very nice and gave great customer service. The only negative experience was the soda dispensing machines that had an horrible taste mixed with the soda. read more

He acted bothered that I dare approach his window while he was talking to another employee. Then the theater itself. Forget #1 if you're in a wheelchair. Nobody from management came to help anyone. Never offered another viewing. The patrons had to walk up to the ticket office to complain. Talked to the GM on the phone. Not sure how this place has a health grade of a B; it's repulsive. Everything was sticky, there was popcorn and trash all over the theater, and the restrooms were straight out of a horror film. We went to see Ready Player One this past weekend and I can confidently say it will be the last visit to this cinema.
