Zero for Experience rating - Customer Service is pathetic Customer service is non-existent. We came for servicing of our Edge - appointment for opening tome at 8am. Arrived 15 minutes ahead and entry to the dealership was blocked with their vehicles. They moved the dealership vehicles out of the way about 5 minutes before opening. Staff on-site did not acknowledge our presence. Nothing pro-active in customer service - no "we're just opening but come in and have a coffee..." No "good morning" or acknowledgement of our presence until Nathan (Servicing Rep) came. read more

My 2018 Edge had a problem with the engine that was not fixable. Because the car is still under warranty, Ford replaced the engine block with a newly designed block.. (something to do with a bad design that caused head to leak coolant into the cylinders). West Coast Ford did the replacement of the engine perfectly and in a very timely manner. Many thanks to the West Coast team and especially the mechanic John H who did an excellent job on the replacement. I could not be happier with the quality of his work. This is a great dealership to both buy and service your Ford products from. I would definitely by another Ford or Lincoln product from them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a Ford product. read more

I have bought several cars from West Coast Ford Lincoln in the past 30 years from this dealership. I finally have a Lincoln and love it, the best car I have ever had. So great to be retired and finally driving a luxury car. I have dealt with Brent Williams for the past 2 vehicles and believe him to be the best person in this company. He is sincere, honest and loyal. I recently had a issue and he helped me out. He was able to apply a discount and saved me some money. That seemed only fair as I bought the car there and am a long term customer. When I first met Brent he was a salesman but is now a manager. West coast is smart to promote this person as he is a valuable employee. The other recommendation is for Grant Mason. Grant is the internet sales coordinator. He knows Lincoln's and fords extremely well and is very helpful with any questions I have. Both of these men are doing fantastic jobs and should be recognized. Messed up my Sync - not thorough service. They replaced my Sync voice and navigation module. Two weeks later periodic fails began where the voice recognition and Guidance audio fails / does not get ready. For 13 months I've left them the vehicle 6 times to troubleshoot but all they do is check for new updates. I cannot say if they are not competent or if it is a FORD software issue, but their inability to address the issue and unwillingness to replace the Sync shows their low level of service. On a separate occasion I asked them to check a low tire pressure warning, but got the vehicle back as 'no issue' just to find a fat nail in the thread. On the 'bright' side, their tire thread measurements show the same tires are improving and increasing depth at every visit. read more

We bought our second new vehicle from west coast Ford three years ago, 5 years after buying one from you previously.. To get the monthly cost down, they tacked a lump sum payment of over 5k to the end of our financing...the catch on that? They DID NOT TELL US they were doing it. All they told us was that our monthly payments would be x-amount, and it fit in the budget, so we were happy. We signed the papers too happy about the fact that the payments were in our price range to notice it until we needed to look at our papers just last month and that's when we found out for the first time that in x-number-of-years, we owe a huge sum of money we had no idea existed. Don't get me wrong: We have fault for not reading more thoroughly, but even in reading through the documents it is clear someone should have pointed to this and made it crystal clear what we were signing, because they were sure clear about everything else but it seemed very convenient for them to skip this one. We are hopping mad about the way this was quietly done to us. My husband was at west coast Ford late into the night mid week negotiating the financing for this vehicle and we have a strong feeling they just wanted to make the sale and be done with us so they could go home. If we had have been aware, we would not have bought the car. read more

Had my brakes serviced, pad was installed incorrectly, found it difficult to get an appointment, was unable to drop off car in the evening, supposedly due to there being no room on the lot. Ended up replacing the pads again myself (correctly). Dealership would not honor warranty on either parts or labour. read more

I recently went to West Coast Ford in Maple Ridge because a friend had a great experience with his purchase of a new F150. I had been in contact with Santino Orilio (sales manager) as i was looking to buy a 2012/2013 Hybrid Fusion. He was professional and very well versed about Ford products and features (never owned a Ford and the Camry and Accord were out of my budget). I headed to the dealership and met John Grass (salesman) and was able to get a good value on my trade in and in the end a 2014 Fusion Hybrid was the obvious choice. Santino and John were great to deal with and would def recommend this dealership. Only reason i didnt rate it higher was because i didnt get my choice of colour. Before engaging with this dealership, I had read all of their positive reviews online and felt confident that I was making a good choice and that I was going to have a great experience with this dealership. My pre purchasing experience was fantastic.  However, my post purchase experience was lousy. Before they had my money they were as nice as can be, even picked me up from home for my business, nice touch.  At vehicle delivery, rims were covered in brake dust, carpets weren't cleaned as they had assured and previous owners garbage still under the seat.  But I overlooked this at the time because they were just so darn nice! Less than a week after purchasing my pre owned Lincoln from this dealership, for an additional peace of mind I had my personal mechanic do an inspection of the vehicle.  I was overly reliant that this dealership's 172 point inspection was completed thoroughly and I was really surprised when my mechanic reported the rear differential fluid and brake fluid really needed changing as well as a power steering fluid leak coming from the pinion.  I was under the vehicle with my mechanic for the entire inspection, the fluids mentioned were sut black, especially the rear differential fluid which was also gunky. Submitted a copy of the report to West Coast Ford Lincoln along with the photos of the pinion leak to their customer care department.  Prior to my purchase; I was assured that all fluids would be changed to keep me on schedule with future maintenance since they were unable to provide me with service records.  When I called in and brought these findings directly to the attention of the salesperson I had dealt with, Grant; he forwarded my call to their service manager who made an appointment for me to come in so that they could have a look, great.  Long story short, after their "inspection", they claimed the fluids didn't require changing and that the power steering leak was "possibly" some excess motor oil that dripped over the pinion during the oil change....(I know the color difference in fluids) the service department would not do any work on the vehicle without me paying for it.  Feeling like an idiot for wasting my time for having driven an hour to hear this, I gave in and paid to have the fluids changed by them just so this wasn't a complete waste of my day (came in for a 10am appointment, left at 3:30pm). To add insult, while patiently waiting for my car to be serviced, my salesperson Grant approached me to say hi and asked why I was at the dealership(as if I hadn't contacted him in the first place to make this appointment) I explained that I was waiting to have the fluids changed on my Lincoln on my own cost due to their inability to deliver the vehicle as promised.  Like an entitled brat, he puts on his face this dumb looking disgusted look, rolls his eyes and without saying another word walks away while shaking his head.  I just stood there in amazement thinking how stupid I was for giving this place my business!  After that happened, in disbelief, I approached the sales manager to recount what I had just witnessed and in the most "I could care less" tone, no eye contact throughout while looking down fidgeting with a pen, tells me that he'll speak to him about it.  Real assuring buddy. The point: If you like something in their pre owned inventory, have your own trusted mechanic check it out first and don't trust a word coming from the mouth of these obviously miserable, phony few. Otherwise, if your interested in something that's sold Ford wide, avoid. Extra star awarded to Sela in the service department, genuinely friendly and very pleasant to deal with! read more

So, I have not purchased a vehicle from them yet but my experience with them servicing my car has been a great experience. Their service department seems always ready to help and try to get you the best offers for the stuff that needs to be done on your car. They never talk down to you and seem to provide great service, would definitely recommend their service department. read more

WILL NEVER RETURN! Most unprofessional "service" I have ever had to deal with. Emailed the service manager, Dan, to question about how I was treated and two weeks later still haven't received a response. I had several interesting situations from the time I was present in the dealership's service department to the telephone conversations and lack of. The endless telephone messages with no return calls, and other questionable and unprofessional conversations (Brandon being sick not the other guy to wishing it was him instead of Brandon, commenting about a typical Friday, and to double check the electrical as Brandon not here) that were said around customers. I should of drove away right then and never returned after those comments. That was a RED FLAG, but unfortunately I didn't. My vehicle was dropped off at 8am and at 3:30pm I called to confirm that the work would be completed when I pick the truck up in a hour, the receptionist at that time said 'my advisor" should of texted or phoned. I explained that I haven't received any word yet, and it sounded like I she was too busy to check - But she proceeded to help me and then told me "its been sitting here since noon". When I arrived at 4:30 to pick up my F150, I proceeded to service to speak to Eric, (my advisor), about the wiper blades and other items that required to be looked at on my F150. I was directed to go to the sales counter to pay for my $160.00 bill, as service was closed (please note this was 4:45pm on Friday, December 6th). When the sales receptionist could not explain or clarify the work order receipt, I returned to the Service Department and asked Sela if she could look into the details of my service, she asked who my advisor was and she proceeded to tell me "It's 5:00 on a Friday". I proceeded to show her my watch that said "4:51pm". At this time she made me feel quite uncomfortable about bothering her as she dismissed me because she wanted to leave for the day too- because you know, its 5 o'clock. I did ask that Sela photocopy a receipt and leave Eric a message to call me to explain the details on what they did on the vehicle. The next day, Saturday, I left several messages one on the voicemail and one with the service receptionist. I did not receive a call back. Note that on the voicemail it stated the hours that "service" was open- Monday to Friday until 5:30pm- NOT 5pm that Sela stated. I did follow up with another message on Monday 8:15am, and was left again with the receptionist to me finally coming into WCF on my lunch hour. I waited to speak to Eric - He stated he never received any message but did get my voice mail from Saturday. As for my bill - there was nothing he could do about it...... I am actually considering trading my F150 and going back to a Toyota or Honda vehicle. But if I do keep it I will NEVER go back to this dealership. read more

Bought a Tuscany black ops edition truck from this dealership. Couple of months later my personal situation changed and I wanted to trade the truck in on as lesser vehicle as I was moving over seas and would be parking my vehicle for a year. This dealership refused to trade in the truck even though I made it clear I would be purchasing another Tuscany truck upon my return. This kind of short sighted customer service approach is why I'd rather ride a bicycle to work than purchase another vehicle from this dealership. read more

I recently leased a vehicle from this location. I previously had a leased vehicle with no problems. When my previous lease was coming to an end I went to the dealership to look at new vehicles. We decided on a 2018 Escape. I paid some money down which as per the salesman and one of the finance managers, covered all the fees for getting out of my last lease (minor damage to the vehicle, remaining payments and down payment for the new one). I had to reschedule the pick up as they stated the car was firstly, not delivered in time (from the dealership beside my house) and then again, because the car was in for detailing and was not finished being cleaned out. When I went to pick up the car it still had tape on the windows and dirt on the ceiling. Clearly not an extensive detailing job. The next week a payment was taken from my bank account for the old car I already returned. As I just leased a new car, I was not expecting this payment and it bounced. Ford Credit then tried to retake the payment a few days later. I contacted Ford Credit and let them know I returned the car at the dealership. They advised me they have had no record of this nor received any communication from the dealership about this. I called the dealership and as always, I was unable to speak to someone and was sent to voicemail. I emailed them and they advised me it was because the payment was only a few days after the new vehicle was leased. Fair enough but Ford Credit had a completely different story. I'm still out the $45 NSF Fee. Now I have been receiving calls from Ford Credit saying I owe over $400 for damage to the vehicle that I RETURNED and the damage I PAID at the dealership. I called the dealership, got sent to voicemail again, and emailed them to let them know. Eventually they told me I was "100% right" and that they would contact Ford Credit and get back to me on Monday. They never got back to me. Ford Credit called again stating the amount owing was still there and they have had no contact from the dealership. I emailed the dealership and they said they already paid it, was going to contact Ford Credit and then get back to me. They never got back to me. I received ANOTHER CALL from Ford Credit saying if the amount owing is not paid it will be sent to collections. I emailed back the finance manager who knew the history of what was going on (as by now I know there is no point in phoning them) and there has been no response from them. Terrible customer service. I will never give them business in the future and never recommend anyone to them. I returned the old leased vehicle in February. It is now May. read more

they sold me a factory rebuilt fx4 f150. At 65,000 it had timing chain slap so bad I thought the engine was going to blow up. Do your research. I wondered why the fog lamp on the driver side would wiggle while it was on. With some mechanic background I checked everything and it was tight but still wiggled when it was on. Also, when starting off from a traffic light etc you could feel the flywheel wobble but then with acceleration it would go away. A year and a half later I noticed that the painted gray wheels were different colour driver side to passenger side. Most of the rubber air dam shirts under the hood were torn at the push screw mount areas when this was a brand new truck. Evidence someone had worked on the truck. Likely front end collision. Any deal on the price? Nope. Just surprises when looking over the paperwork afterwards. They had this truck chosen for me when I got there. I wasn't allowed to pick one from the lot. Be very careful, they're all scumbags with tricks. Reegan is now in Langley likely ripping off anyone he can. read more
