He was clear about what not to upgrade considering the context of how we plan to use the boat. He gave us handy tips: --get the enclosure locally; it's higher quality and less $$ --no need for the $2,000 upgrade on pontoon protectors --the upgrade on the upholstery won't pan out for water rats like us --stereo upgrade--vital for people like him; not for us bookworms As I continued to ask, "Anything else?" Alec revealed more details--that pump upgrade on the commode. Yes, please. Anything else?" No need for extra lighting, 12 volt charging stations beyond the standard issue. Anything else?" Consider the tow bar and the extra battery if you envision.... Yup. We do. Good catch, Alec. You get the point. Alec was helpful, patient and made himself available on a busy boat show weekend with long hours and possibly junky food. We did not like some features on the '26 model. We looked at a used 2020 32 CB at Sundance on Lake Union. Jake helped us with viewing and doing sea trials. Jake was very responsive, got back with us quickly when we had questions, was easy to work with and never pressured us. He drove up from Portland to Seattle several times during the buying process. This review wayyyy overdue …read more Looked at pictures of a Toll Craft Bob Krause had listed. Looked super clean so after speaking with him several times over a couple weeks I decided to fly up to Portland from San Francisco. Bob took me down to the boat just prior to my surveyor showing up. Boat did not look close to the listing pictures. He admitted later the pics were taken before the current owner purchased it! Ok....time to haul out pressure wash,survey etc right? Back in the water for sea trial and port engine backfired so bad we had to limp back home. Survey did not go well either with item after item piling up. Called off engine survey. Paid for standard hull survey,haul out, pressure wash,2 nts hotel and round trip fare San Francisco and I'm out over $2,000. Sorry to say that many brokers misrepresent their listings and are not ethical in doing business.... Stay away from these guys.....

I bought a boat and put $5k into it to make it sea worthy. Then decided it was not the right boat for me. The broker sold that boat back to the original owner for $15k less than I paid for it. I feel I was set up and scammed. The broker made his commission on two sales the original owner got his boat repaired and made money. Was this legal? Maybe. Was it ethical? NO WAY. Stay away from this brokerage. They are bad actors. 0 Stars!!!

Finally an offer was made and the boat was sold.  This sailboat was not going to earn a big commission, but they worked on it like it would. Michael Taylor stayed in constant touch with us and steered us through any rough waters. No praise is too high for these fine men who operate with such fairness and high integrity. The Passion Yacht team went out of their way to help us schedule our classes to fit our needs. Doing our 101 with Jen turned out to be very instructive given her sailing knowledge and racing experience, on top of being a great and fun teacher. We sailed with John for almost a week and enjoyed that experience immensely, especially his attention to detail, his easy-going ways and his methodical, disciplined manner of sailing, and thoroughness in guiding and teaching us, always mindful of us learning and applying the lessons.
